crazy story so i was going out for DQ at like 10 oclock saturday night, and it started raining as i left, but by the time i was almost there, it was pouring like crazy, so i pulled over. i sit there for like 10 minutes while umbrellas are flying everywhere before deciding that it had calmed down enough to leave. just decided to go to chick fil a instead pretty sure theres a hurricane coming through around like florida or something so it makes sense. we always get a bit of it whenever one shows up. similar type of weather when i was driving today. if theres anybody from florida or any areas that are majorly affected on the forums, i hope yall are gonna be okay summer in the southeast US be crazy
Yeah. Not only in the US, but also here in Mexico, too. It was raining all evening and it didn't stop until the early morning.

Ah, that's a shame. I hope it's because of, like, asbestos or something, because otherwise, the building still looks like it's in pretty decent shape. My high school has changed a lot since I graduated, but being a poor, underfunded school way out in the sticks, they pretty much can't afford to waste any of the buildings. So instead of demolishing anything (asbestos be damned!), they just keep adding on to it. The old gymnasium on the property had and still has been there since I think the early 40's.
I’m in a rural area too but our school system is in debt so they’re just gonna raise the taxes again. So glad I live in a different county now because the tax rate has more than doubled for some. Town is full of retirees now because of the increased cost of living there and population and enrollment are going down… but they still want to remodel the school because it only has 1 gym and seems like a maze apparently. I thought it was fine No asbestos or anything
I love when they keep doing that. My school has had so many expansions, it's practically a new building. I believe the first building was built in the 1920s and the newest addition was created in the 80s. What's funny is that in one part of the school, they kept the original brick walls and windows that used to be the outer edge of the building (but now is a corridor).
