I just want tow straps/winches that'd be sick to pull a car along or onto a trailer after its wreck. Makes sense for career mode too, to go out and rescue your crashed car.
I was just joking about doohickey and thingamabob but I genuinely have no idea what that is. Guess I'll have to wait for the official release trailer video.
I'm sure it's going to make sense eventually, right? The collective speculation here can (probably) figure out what this is.
Really just looks like a big ass electric motor with a steel beam connected to it and a tow hitch for your victim mobile --- Post updated --- Wait isn't it one of those spinners with spiky balls attached but without the ball?
yeah thats def a spinner thing. couple a car at the end of the thing and based of the position of the electric engine, it will spin and destroy the vehicle using centrifugal/ centripetal forces
Something I'm unsure anybody has mentioned the possibility of yet: If its a spinner of some sort.. hows it gonna attach to a car? Perhaps.. a rope? Ropeables? i.e. One of the things that tdev said was being worked on quite a long time ago? Is this that finally coming to the game? Would be nice for winches in game and stuff.
my guess is that .37 will be a destruction prop themed update probably doing alot of remaster/refresh of the current destroying stuff things --- Post updated --- and the blue thing is the remake of the large spinner prop we already have
Speculation: In my opinion that’s some kind of EHA (Electro-Hydraulic Actuator) their use cases are unlimited. Could be electric only too, rather not pneumatic. One thing is sure, it will have some crazy push and pull strength. In BeamNG it could be used for example to tilt heavy platforms, as a part of bigger construction like that „hamster wheel”. It could’ve been platform to test how stable is their hydraulic simulation at extreme pressures and now It’s getting released in game as a prop etc. (Props are often tasks for new devs to train before working on bigger projects). Example of one with square shaft like in the teaser: How those work: Obviously I may be wrong, so feel free to correct me
