Nah, they just pour some blood into the water! Classic trolling tactic this one, they know our minds are like sharks ready to eat the teasers alive!
Before speculating about some sort of new repair system in career mode, shouldn't we try to figure out what the heck are we looking at? Focusing on the thing to the right, looks like a + shaped plate bolted to a flat surface, what could it be? Is it some sort of real device i simply don't know about? Or could it be some silly prop like a concrete block you can (try to) drag around?
Im pretty sure the object that the car/hitch is attached to is a large trailer (e.g. cargo trailer with option to hook up to another trailer)
Well well well ... I'm pretty the teasers will make sense when 0.37 drops haha let's just hope that the " vehicle reveal " teaser will be ... Easy ? Geez I love all of the Beam NG devs haha
so --- Post updated --- Burnside Ambulance and a UK police car since the Burnside looks like a Ford Zephyr its would be easy
Wait...I've got it. Barstow/Moonhawk double muscle remaster, with Fast 5 vault shenanigans included. "So much torque the chassis twisted coming off the line". The devs were making a double entendre F&F reference. Pull the vault, untwist the chassis, drive away in your not Dodge Charger (AKA Barstow) I was mostly joking, but I think that's literally just a towable weight. That thing has no detail, just a perfect square. Could be a solid cube and you can adjust its mass. So two more props maybe?
I think the teaser looks like a mock up of a pintle hitch without flat out saying pintle hitches are being added. (I know you can have the truck side, but trailer side if I recall correctly is not in the game) assuming that is indeed the case, it would be completely in line with more recent updates with a more utility focused bulk of content, which would still have minor pieces of content spilling over into what I believe is going to be a mostly physics and realism focus for potentially quite a while. the hopper I'm pretty sure is a 2nd gen Suzuki jimmy with jeep styling, but with the spirit and mech closer to the real deal (in theory). the name could also be because of jimmy Cricket, who, hops.. and is therefore a hopper. if it is, a jimmy doing Jeep-face it would handle like a mini jeep combined with a fwd economy sedan. all the body roll you can get, but with the 'if it grips it goes' type offroading you get in a lifted nissan versa on A/Ts (trust me, its way better than you think) also; I was having a debate with my teacher/professor about tire thermals in beam, he thinks it will only bring a small amount of people to the game and I think it'll be revolutionary enough to bring over most racing sim players who haven't already bought the game. we both agreed that it is revolutionary however. great job Beam Team
They gotta really pitch the marketing for it, like with new racing career mode additions or a new car, or something. Otherwise it might not get the attention it deserves.
boy, we are getting the hamster wheel remastered --- Post updated --- bro is just saying words and walking off wtf
Yes I know, although we are still most likely going to get vehicle content as well, either a new or revamped car. The last time we didn't receive proper vehicle related content was in 0.14, unless 0.37 breaks that pattern in a while. It's still too early to tell.
