For me it wasn't even that the mod was paid - was that the mod was using stolen assets from CSR2 (slightly modified models at the very least). Charging money for something that is not yours is toxic. If you wanna ask for donations for the work and time you have put in - fine - but you cannot expect to be paid using assets in mod that is part of a monthly subscription service like Patreon when you didn't make 100% of the assets in the mod. Now that we know he was caught doing it for this mod - how many of his other mods use stolen assets partially or fully? You cannot know. Edit: Crap this was a dead thread....my bad.
