I got the cash in transit van stop by my work every day and they drive a 818d mercedes van/truck and holy molly it sounds cool as hell. It has air tanks as well and when they kick in, it's top notch hearing-gasms .
Quite literally just your average Mercedes diesel, most of them have that distinct sound. We already got a similar van, it's the Stambecco. It has a semi-cabover layout with forward axle placement, just like the Vario. What we should have is a soft cokecan full-sized cabover van that could be made into a light duty truck too..
as long as this engine and sounds are implemented, it would solve the idea/suggestion. Stambecco could be an excellent candidate
