What happened to Honda Del Sol and Honda Prelude mods

I just started filming another 'Forgotten mods of BeamNG.drive' video and I remembered these two Hondas. What happened to them? Why were they removed from the BeamNG forums? My guess is DMCA takedown, but I'm not sure. :/

 

To be honest, I have no idea what happened to the Del Sol Sir mod. It had it's own thread and it was in the repo at some time. But since the thread was deleted and it was removed off the repo, I would agree with you that Honda did a DMCA on that mod. Another reason why it could've been also removed is because I've heard some people say that the author of this mod removed it himself (not sure)? The Honda Prelude mod is still there, but it's outdated at some point https://www.beamng.com/threads/honda-prelude-sn-patch-1-1-released-for-0-4-x.12993/. Apparently, this thread has the older version of the Honda Prelude, since there's a link on that thread that has the v2.0 version (newer version of the forum Prelude) , which the link redirects you to an error. I used the Wayback Machine and it shows that the Honda Prelude used to be in the repo, which could've been the v2.0 version.

Both of them were taken down but i still have both of them after all these years

Hi Blazer, I'm a big fan of your vids especially the ones about memes, anyways, answering your question, I think that it was a DMCA takedown, or maybe the author just removed it.
