Yes I have the exact same issue on my Steam Deck (only in gaming mode). I can also only load into Grid map, pure. I have raised the issue and there are some folks on Reddit with the same issue. Reinstall after removing all folders of Beamng doesn't solve it for me either.
On the ETK 800 wagon model, the brake lights flash under hard braking, but not on the sedan model --- Post updated --- Nevermind, I just had ESC off
The BX NGRC2 configurations both have turbochargers (and make around 220 hp), while they're listed as N/A (at 175 hp). Which one's it meant to be? Because I don't mind the BX rally configs in their current state, but I can understand wanting to make them N/A. EDIT: Covet NGRC2s also have incorrect power - they've got 190 PS, while the performance sheet says they has 214 PS. And incorrect weight, as well - the basic info says they're 1070 kg, while they're really 1110 kg. Similar issue with the BX rally configs - they're stated to be 1175 kg, while they're really 1255 kg.
Also, the configs in the same class seem to be really unbalanced: the hp for the ngrc2 are all over the place and for the ngrc1 there's a whopping 200hp difference between the vivace and the sunburst
That's likely down to the evolution of the NGRC1 regs - using real-life examples, I don't think an '07 Impreza WRC is all that comparable to a '19 C3 WRC.
That's fair enough, but i kinda assumed cars in the same class were meant to be balanced since otherwise there's no competition
That's the thing about Beam's current car roster when it comes to motorsports (drag racing aside); there are plenty of classes in different eras that are fulfilled by a single car each (e.g. GT4, TCR, Group 5), since there aren't a lot of contemporaneous rival car platforms for brands to duke it out with. Apart from the NGRC2 Covet and I-Series, the only exception that comes to mind is the Group 4 Bolide, which could be grandfathered into Group B to compete against the Covet MR Turbo. (Not counting the Special and Bluebuck 1st-gen stock cars since those are under the same brand umbrella.)
In my career save, I listed a car for sale but when I try to accept an offer, it gives me a fatal lua errror.
Man it's impossible to oversteer in gravel, in real life you can spin out a car going 60kmh, in game I can only do it at 100, the tires have too much grip on gravel
The Burnside Special Police Beacon Light displays a Clear Glass color when broken instead of a Red Glass color.
Ibishu Miramar issue with launching GTz - 6 cars, they are just blow up. In slow motion mode it starts with radiator support or with shifter/
I noticed something odd while driving around: It seems as though some of the smooth lights are inverted - it looks like they fade in slowly / fade out quickly instead of fade in quickly / fade out slowly. That is only the case on some cars. Affected by this are Miramar, Barstow, LeGran, Burnside, ETK 800, Grand Marshal, Sunburst. Attached are two videos that should show what I am referring to.
4-slot textures have been updated but 5-slots haven't besides the black versions But the black versions are still not good. New vs old
the same goes for snow. There is an area with snow in the mountains on the automation test track. And to break the car into a skid, you need to gain at least 70 km / h.In reality, 50 may be enough. Perhaps this is influenced by the very steering of cars. The fact is that in reality, in modern cars, to enter an average turn, you need to tilt the steering wheel by a maximum of ~ 30 - 45 degrees. In Beamng, this will require ~90 degrees. This is true for cars of the 90s - 2000s, but not for modern ones. In reality, to create a skid at a speed of about 60- 70, you will need to turn the steering wheel not so much, but in beamng you will have to turn it almost 180 degrees even on the etk tt sport. In reality, a slight deviation of the steering wheel at high speed is felt sharply. But in Beamng, the car reacts sharply to steering deviation if it is rotated by about 30 degrees. In games like ETS 2 assetto corsa, the steering of modern cars is more realistic. --- Post updated --- By the way, the sand physics in the game is quite good. Even at low speed, it feels like the car is driving in a rut. But in the mud, the car goes on as if nothing had happened. The mud physics should also be updated. It is enough to make it the same as sand
The etk 800's turn signals go off too abruptly. Also, the soliad landsale, hirochi sunburst, ibishu bx diana cars have a bug with the high beam section. When the low beam is on, the high beam section lights up and goes out abruptly. This only happens when the high beam is flashing, and the high beam section goes out smoothly when turned off. This issue has not been fixed since 0.35 --- Post updated --- If you throw off the clutch on cars with a manual transmission, the car will not stall. Moreover, on some cars, it almost won't even twitch after that. In reality, the car can stall if you release the pedal too much.
Race gearbox on Hirochi Sunburst does not whine as if it had straight cut gears. Ibishu Covet does not have enough room for handbrake when active.
Are there going to be more hotfixes/updates to 36? It seems like a lot of stuff is not addressed yet.
The Cherrier vivace and tograc do not stall even on the ascents. Maybe this is true for diesel, but it also happens on a gasoline engine. Еven on a high rise, you can start without gas. In general, most cars with 4-cylinder engines do not stall when the clutch is thrown, except for the ibishu bx hirochi sunburst and ibishu covet.
they're probably just working on fixing the issues, so it might take a while. and hey, its Tuesday, so we might see something today edit: wait fuck its Wednesday
