can we also get a category for standalone vehicles, its annoying asf to go dig thru the 293 thousand 'its an ibishu miramar with a bodykit i now call it the EXTRACEPTOR' in hopes of finding another standalone vehicle
something like vanilla mods x standalone vehicles or rebadges section, theres a ton of mods in land that are just 'oh its vanilla car modified and renamed' filling it up and i feel those need to be in a different section

The mod repository is very nice and modernized, congratulations on the work you're doing! :D

I have a suggestion for new players, a tutorial showing how to download a mod both in-game and on the website itself, because there will be people who will play for the first time and won't know very well how to download a mod at first, so a tutorial would be good, this is just my suggestion :)

Still wouldn't stop people from installing mods in the game files themselves :p

there actually are, it's just the repository shows all mods in one. if you want to see only standalone vehicles (not rebadges) then just click the "Vehicles" section on the left

In other words, will we be able to download mods from this new repository since it will replace the website and game repo?
Will the website now only be dedicated to forums, news, updates and patch notes?

Could the reviews system be better in some way for modders? Something like comments would be cool, easier to reply to and easier when helping people with bugs, or putting out announcements.

Also, will there be category hierarchy like we have now?

Not sure if anyone suggested it yet but we should be able to autofilter mods by which vanilla car(s) they add parts to

It looks great! For the paint scheme, I would make it so that it doesnt look out of place with the main website (White, orange stripes, the same font and so on)! I always thought that the mod website looked out of place!

Will paid mod support ever be added? It would be a safer and more manageable way to deal with paid mods imho.

Other than that it looks good!

No not the website! I know I'm probably the only person on this planet that actually likes the website repo but this going to be hard for me, I find it easy to use even if the search functions aren't overly functional... this is the kind of thing I will forever be nostalgic for but I'm sure it will still work well and be good.

    Please include time based filters.
Most Downloaded - This Week, Month, Year, All Time.
    Or
Sort by rating - Filter by release date < 1 year old.

Rather than the current "featured" section which changes and then the content is forgotten, it would be great to have a "hall of fame". It should only include the best of the best mods that get approval from your team.

For people like me who like to keep the installed mod list small, it would be great to have a section like this. I can just install everything and get a really clean Vanilla+ experience.

Mods that are Demo versions of paid mods / externally downloadable content should have a 'Demo' tag, with convenient hyperlinks to redirect the user to where the full mod can be attained from, obviously have links verified by developers before published to the game repository ofc

The new mod repository looks great and I can't wait to see it release. However, there's one thing I suggest should be kinda fixed for it. The rating system. Ngl, the rating system isn't that bad but it's not the best. My suggestion is to make the rating scale with not the 5 stars but with the scale of 0 to 10. I usaully enjoy that type alot in my opinion. Plus, just some bonus suggestions but maybe add comments so people can reply to reviews and maybe add a feature where you can click a review as helpful :p

    to add on
maybe a multi star review system based on category / mod type / maybe even dependant on mod author

    like

    overall : X/5

    damage model : 3/5
texture and model quality : 5/5
    driving / suspension feel : 4/5

Considering how subjective star grades are, I don't really see any added value in making it more granular. At the end it's just supposed to be a very rough grade, that is then averaged out over dozens of review to give the overall's community rating. I don't really see already in individual review grades, with the text being much more important.

Steam makes it work decently with a "yes/no" question, as much as I do think it might benefit from a "mixed" grade.

Having random people reply to reviews I feel would mostly result in people dog-piling on controversial reviews, which I don't think ads much to the experience.

I feel like having the time filters would also help avoid the current issue of mods that are getting quite old/outdated still being at the top of ratings/download lists.

The featured section I feel should have relatively set update times, and as you said I agree it would be nice to be able to see the history of featured mods.

What about only allowing the original review poster to reply?

That could be interesting, especially for reviews talking about bugs and such, would allow for replies directly instead of having to move to DMs or the forum thread (if there is one)
