    Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but it would be SUUUUPER helpful if there was a possibility to have multiple mod developers similar to the Steam workshop. What I mean by that is that the original resource author can add additional people who then also have the right to upload updates or change the description and are also shown as the authors (also stuff like the mods showing on their profiles too as well as the ratings counting for them too)

    something like this ? i dont see how would add mods without going to the mod page

    Also depending on the mod, a popup that says "X mod is required for this mod to function, download?" for stuff like KLJP so they dont ned to use the ingame messages to tell the user to download the core mod

    Also in the mod manager, will there be "mod packs" which you can pick which to use (so you dont have to be enabling and disabling all the time), props if you can also generate a link to automatically download all the repo mods in that mod pack for sharing

    it would also be cool to disable mods from loading more configs into the vehicle
    like with a d-series mod it would be nice to be able to prevent that mod from adding more configs to the d-series preferably this could be done on an individual mod basis

    it would be cool to see a small panel under the search bar, which shows you a few mods in real time while you are typing something

    also as Lordlichi said, being able to create modpacks would also be a great idea. I literally wait for them every second of my living lol

    is there going to be in the backend some sort of weight / SEO system that means that not only just the newest mods appear, but the most popular recent mods? since with the amount of mods that are uploaded now , even if your mod gets like 4 ratings,s within a few days its like buried 4 pages deep

    oh oh another one lol, maybe a specific donation/youtube video/website link/ button in the main page instead of having to use the description contents themselves?

    You should add that you can make outdated and unsupportet mods playable and the you should link the forum page :)

    Are there any plans to support paid mods/betas of mods?

    Will there be larger file size restrictions for bigger overhaul mods and maps?

    Does it support creator auto-updates (so when a creator pushes a live update it will update in game [I think this how it currently works])?

    Mod Extras or abiliity to customize mod content (so that you can download only what you want of big modpacks), im not sure of how you could handle this on the backend, maybe thru separate zips that then get combined into a single one when downloaded?

    What I think would be simpler is that there can be a "Dependencies" section next to the download/subscribe buttons which requires you to download the other mods.


    And, iirc, newer versions of XenForo (the forum software) have an option for a resource to have multiple ZIPs in one, so it asks you to select which files you want to download. However for this, the entire website will need to be upgraded so it's not mandatory (just a suggestion), and I doubt that the new resources manager will be integrated with the forums, it might just be another link or something.

    If a mod requires additional mods to make it functional, then maybe add something that indicates that for new users. Also, outdated and unsupported tags would be helpful as well. Otherwise it looks great so far.

    This looks really nice, happy to finally see this updated!
    Will the forum remaster come with it, or is it going to come later?
    Also, i don't see the featured mods that we have currently, are they coming back or are they scrapped?

    First of all, looks great <3

    A couple of ideas for improvements:
    1) Higher quality preview images, maybe even a possibility to upload 2-3 to make them scroll
    2) More categories and better separation/guidelines (currently Mods of Mods is just a dump of whatever that cant be categorized)
    3) As was already mentioned in the thread, adding collaborators as mod co-authors with togglable update privileges would be also a welcome feature

    if this also is including a rework to the game’s mod manager, i would really like to see user defined folders/grouping and the ability to multi-select mods for install/deactivate/activate/update.

    and big ups on better filtering/sorting with more granular tagging
