still not fixed as of 0.36.2.

also, whats with the lack of patch notes? it really does feel like there's a change in the number, with nothing being fixed. can the devs tell us whats going on?

yeah, apparently the smooth lights disable the stalk animation, for some reason

 

I think there is an issue with the Crawler branch progression. There used to be 3 missions, but now, there are only 2. It's quite hard to reach the 7 starts needed to unlock the next part.

Anyone else notice that some of the billboard ads on West Coast USA have disappeared? Specifically, the ones on the signs by Torres Tires, Turbo Burger, Nodeoline, and the multi-story parking garage. All that's there are metal structure textures. Are new ads planned to take their place soon, or is this an update bug?

 

They might be remastering the billboards then? After all, all of them have been there for many years now.

 

But those same signs from the billboards are in the new race track tunnels.

 

This has been an issue since 0.35 or so: Esc not closing the parts selector or car selector window, and instead opening the main menu (which lags my game like high holy hell for a few seconds even on my top-end rig from 2022)

 

I believe the automatic Miramar column shifter is not yet finished. It moves in the wrong direction, it has no gear indicator, it has a hidden "1" gear that isn't animated, and it doesn't appear in any of the premade configs. Its like when we had the cement mixer upfit option before they had fully modeled it.

 

Don't know if this was mentioned but one of the burnside coupe's has V8 repeated in it's name.

 

So, i lost all my custom configs and the game doesn’t show what button operates a function ( ex. Toggle lightbar mode) in the settings. All my settings got reset.

 

I love this update so much, bank truck is one of my most favourite vehicle ever and Im so happy its vanilla now. However, there are some things that I wanna suggest regarding the MD series as a whole:

1. Seeing how theres a school bus config or a swat truck config based on the 80s hood, it wouldve been nicer (and more accurate) if the marker lights (the tiny tidbits one on the roof and sides) were halogen instead of LED because they dont really utilize LEDs up until late 00s. Would be much better if we have the option for both LED and halogen markerlights.

2. On topic of LED lights, the roof lights for the SWAT trucks would also be period correct being a halogen light, heres a quick world editor job to show how perfect it wouldve been as a halogen;



3. This is more of a suggestion, but it wouldve been perfect if the headlight bezels and the grille color on the MD series could be colored as chrome or black just like the school bus instead of just being silver and body colored as opposed to T series.

Outside MD series, I do wonder why typing your own vanity license plate is now only limited to 10 characters? Ive made a plate that could utilize 15 characters yet I can only randomize the plate. Honestly it wouldve been better if the limits were like 50 characters just incase someone is mad enough to utilize that.

Yup, I didn't realize the I6 was OHV. Still, looking at like a 1953 Ford that had an OHV I6 and the Flathead V8, the flathead was still more powerful by 9hp

Devs can you please fix this sometime? I hate tuning using psi when I'm European...

 

The Burnside Special I6 (the red one) is listed as having a 2 speed automatic, but the actual configuration is a 3 speed.

I think this is a case where the description is right and the vehicle is wrong--it would have been a base 2-speed IRL.

 

you're probably right, and maybe they forgot to put "TEST" or "W.I.P." next to the automatic column shifter in the parts selector

 

Why are you on an older version of the game? Maybe the new update fixed it

 

personally id change the donot instal mods here txt file to make it shorter so that by default windows can show the full name

I was just about to write this lol. Something like _DO_NOT_INSTALL_MODS_HERE_ would probably be better.

 

who is used for the freeroam button being on the left side now its in like the middle i always click on the quick start experiences tbh they should put the freeroam back in the left side its annoying as im not used to it

 

i agree, the first time i loaded the 0.36 i discovered the new interface and: why do they changed that, that not better, they changed it just because why not.
the next time it will be the logo because WHY NOT ?
