Thinking about Sunburst, I think it's expect that the next car to be renovated will also have a fuel filler door.

 

why do devs don't added fuel cap to burnside ?

and i made a list of car that have fuel cap before sunburst remaster: stambecco, piccolina, nine, wigeon, widra, T-series, miramar (sedan) and the MD-series

 

there is also a fuel cap (or a diesel exhaust fluid cap, one of the two) on the school bus. look on the left of the bus doors

 

i don't see anything ?

I'm not sure if it's a fuel cap or a diesel exhaust fluid cap, it doesn't say what it is (most likely a fuel cap)

 

i discovered something: engines don't have oil cap on the carter

 

if we get the Italian crossover, someone better make a mod that is a badge-engineered version from a US manufacturer or a platform-mate to it.
if we see a Swedish crossover however, it would be much more interesting to see the weird transverse I6 and V8 models from Volvo in both sedan and SUV forms

 

or SAAB lol because they made plane too...

ITS ONLY A SPECULATION but if we take the "solos all" it can mean a kart config ?

Maybe a bit offtopic, but it seems that the new updated added a new terrain tool, I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere tho, called Terraform. It terraforms the selected area along the mesh/ meshroad, its really useful for us who still use meshroads to make roads and not with the road arhitect tool as it can be a bit broken.
With this and last couple of updates, they seem to also focus on making new tools for modders which is really nice.

 

I posted a thread but I'll reiterate here. I have some ideas for a more realistic bus.

1. Brown Interior. For anyone who has ridden in an older school bus, you'd remember the old brown vinyl seats. I actually preferred the brown ones to the gray ones, as brown is my favorite color.
2. Wire Crossing Arm. This was more common on older buses before a brighter and more easily visible yellow plastic arm was mandated. It would make the old bus look that much more period correct.
3. Exit-less Roof. Another tweak I would make in the name of being period correct, old buses were not equipped with roof hatches like new buses are.
4. Emergency Exit Alarm. If you ever were curious about what pulling the bright red handle may do, you'd probably now know that whenever an emergency exit is opened on a school bus, it sounds a buzzer to alert the driver of the open exit. It's not a very loud alarm, bus it is easy to hear from the inside and will result in an unhappy bus driver.
5. Wheelchair Lift. This one is more optional, but it would be cool to see a handicapped-capable bus in the game with a wheelchair lift.
6. Rusty/Weathered Paint. Because everyone loves a beat-up school bus.
7. Gasoline Fuel Tank. I feel this one is self-explanatory.

 

I remember there being a few 50s cars with the fuel filler hidden behind one of the taillights. Sure enough, a quick Google search for "hidden fuel cap" brings up a bunch of 50s cars that did just that (even ones from earlier in the decade that didn't go all-out with the jet-age styling), so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the direction the devs have taken here.

The fill cap could also be behind the rear licence plate like the 1959 impala, which simply flips down to access. or like others have said it could be part of the chrome trim like on the 1957 bel air where it's fuel door is on the back of the left tail fin just above the taillight, the burnside facelift could have the same feature with its chrome tail fin trim just beneath the taillight (the pre-facelift could have it behind the rear licence plate).

Yeah that could be said for tons of cars in BeamNG. My wagon has it behind the plate and it's a 1980 my friend's '65 Impala SS has it lots of cars do.

 

It must be hiding somewhere... somewhere...

P.S. - I'm not claiming it didn't exist before, I'm just speculating that it might be added to other cars in future updates.

 

With the miramar getting a demo derby config could this mean possible banger race track & banger race/demo derby ai in the ui wheel someday?
