Re: General discussion chat Our country is sad to the point of a 4th grader got suspended for watching The Hobbit and pretending that he had the ring and made his friend invisible. He also got suspended for calling a black kid black. What is the state of schools in the U.S.? Armed officers in front of the schools, and no way in or out and everyone telling their kids it is normal. 9 years ago, when I started school, nothing was like this. Nothing.

Re: General discussion chat A "high expectations" school where all of the smart people go. But, we need to write a sentence to each person, yet talking to their personality. I only know about 1/3 of the 8th grade. All of every one else is in the background. It's due on the 13th, and each one needs a sentence, and it needs to be hand-made. I have absolutely no creativity, and my handwriting sucks balls. This is for 79 people, and it is a project grade, to where it is counted higher than a test. I can write a 3 page paper dealing with accused rape, but I can't make valentines. :/

Re: General discussion chat Write a computer program and give it 6 sentence starters, 6 compliments and then 6 sentence ends as well as a place for the students name. Then make it so all you need to do is feed it a list in a txt file of all student names, one name per line, then output all of the sentences into a text file, one line per sentence. Open the file in notepad and print. For bonus points make it so the font is the correct size so that when you put it though a shredder it cuts them all up for you. A program to do that shouldnt be to hard to code in a console based language. c#, vb.net, lua, python etc. They will all do it. Depending on your programming competence it may take more or less time to produce than writing them all out. But its infinitely more interesting to do. You might even impress your teacher if you tell them you wrote a program to do it for you. Or they might kill you, who knows.
