A car that I think would go well in a Japan map alongside a Miramar remaster is an early 90s midsize JDM sedan/coupe with a longitudinal powertrain and performance versions available.
I think it would be cool if we had updates made specifically for countries like, 2025 Update USDM Cars, and a map 2026 Update JDM Cars and a map update 2027 KDM cars and a map.
Id love to see a hybrid in the game, probably a 2010-2015 sedan/hatch, something that's very economy-focused like a more modern Covet. But I think there is a bigger chance of a revamp for one of the older vanilla cars, either the Burnside, Moonhawk or the Barstow
I definitely don’t think any existing vehicles are going to get them since it would probably take too long to model it. I meant any vehicles that are going to be added to the game in future. For the lighting, I only meant ones that had incandescent bulbs, although I’m hoping they finally redo the LED lights too as a lot of them are incredibly outdated and look atrocious.
im a bit tired of old cars now, no cars in game are in production anymore, anyone else feel the same?
To the people speculating about teasers coming soon, is it already time again? Feels like the update was very recent and too recent for teasers to appear again yet. Maybe I am just losing track of time though
Getting teasers would feel too soon. In terms of a new car as many have voiced, I think a modern hybrid would be nice. Many players would complain about it… because hybrid bad. But personally I love driving vehicles that feel tangible. Smart cars, eco cars, etc. Especially after seeing some of the crazy mods people do to turn them into little blitzed out track monsters.
Yeah BeamNG's car selection feels way too unrealistic imo and nobody is talking about it because "haha shidbox funny".
Well, considering that a Hybrid system could be used to do more than eco cars. High performance hybrids, for example. The SBR4 is a car that fits nicelly with that. A TTS2e with the base front motor and the TTS2 Drivetrain in back without AWD would be incredibly quick. And yes, there's the Vivace that could get both an Eco Focused hybrid or go all the way to high performance with the 2.0L Turbo (Considering the 2.5 might be too much for the Vivace Platform
possibly more development into the modern american market with more mundane american or japanese cars 2015+ but idk what would be best
Yeah I have no idea why we don't have a CR-V or RAV4. Like I said, BeamNG's car selection is extremely unrealistic.
I always found it funny that you still regularly see LeGrans at the same time that you see Bastions. Nobody would realistically be driving a 1980s car, and they especially wouldn't be common.
I would also be happy with any ea888 car but we do have the vivace so prolly not --- Post updated --- also take away the body and the bastion platform would be fantastic with the addition of a diesel
so i was thinking about the possibility now that we have voiced Pacenotes, that we could also get voiced police radio chatter with an radio frequency scanner to go along with it
I know the AI in the game is still a work in progress but I really like this idea. Something simple like “suspect last seen in a grey hiorchi sunburst” when you’re driving a cop car to know who you’re chasing. And maybe when you’re being chased, you intercept radio chatter to know when you’re being pursued and when your “wanted level” increases, or if you’re hidden etc.
I would like some UI app that would be a mod called Police Report. it would include Last Seen In a: Liscence plate:

No, but I'm a serial nostalgist, so I'm biased. Rant follows... *ahem* The crowning argument I've always made against creating a full modern car market is that 'modern' is a fluid, necessarily continuously-evolving concept. There are 3-5 major bodystyles (crossover/fullsize SUV/fullsize pickup/luxury EV, for example), coming from 2-3 auto-producing markets, and each one has a production run of 3-5 years. The devs develop 2, maybe 3 vehicles in a year, so if the requirement is that there should be at least one vehicle of each major bodystyle and/or market that is currently in production, that could mean that almost half of all new vehicles would have to be contemporary. That sounds fair at first glance—half of the time, the modern car fans are happy, and half of the time, the classics fans are happy—but 'modern' describes an at most 10-year span, while 'classic' is something more like a century. So the person specifically yearning for a 70's car or a 2000's car has a statistically much lower chance of having their interests tended to than the person who wants a modern crossover. And, yeah, I do think it's a little unrealistic seeing LeGrans and Wendovers driving in traffic alongside the K-Series and the Bastion, but only in the best way. It makes me yearn for a world in which Cash for Clunkers never took place. In which the automobile is more than an appliance to be replaced 2-3 times per decade, in which people could be trusted to fix and maintain their equipment instead of pining for the newest thing who's main selling point is that it makes it easy to forget you're driving. I don't hate modern cars—I'd describe my feelings toward them as 'aloof'—but if I can't be allowed to live out my fantasy in a friggin' video game, it might be time for me to move to the woods and live as a hermit.
