Re: General discussion chat So some bright spark has decided that it will be a smart idea to land a Boeing 747 on runway in my city, Just let me add that this runway is one fourth the size of the runways at Sydney Airport which this jet usually lands on. When they announce the date it will land I am gonna go watch, I may witness a 747 crash. (This specific jet holds the world record for longest continuous flight, in 98 it flew 20 hours straight from Sydney to London)

Re: General discussion chat It was 89 and its actually the 5th longest commercial flight. Its the longest 747 flight. Current record is Hong Kong to London the log way around, 22 hours and about 21602 kilometers. For non commercial flights. A balloon managed 40814km once. There are 2 aircraft claiming over 40000km. Notably one of them flew the entire way around the world.
Re: General discussion chat Speaking of big planes recently a Antonov An-225 Mrija landed on a nearby Mošnov airport here to carry some guns and military equipment to Africa. That plane does not go here often at all. Yeah also it is the biggest plane in the world but no big deal, right? actua plane on actual airport after landing

Re: General discussion chat I have only played SA when around with family in wales and on my phone. So its really no big deal. Also the steam version does have widescreen support. With adaptive vsync on all the frame rate issues are gone. Im pretty happy with it overall.
Re: General discussion chat I played SA Steam version once. I had to lock it to like 30FPS for some of the controls to work.
Re: General discussion chat I have been playing it a 60fps by forcing adaptive vsync through the nvidia control panel. Xbox 360 controller works out of the box so to say, but I did change controls so triggers are accelerate and brake.
