Website Layout Change / Updates

So, I logged on to the forums very recently and noticed something odd - and that was the whole forums layout shifted to the left. Now I wonder if that is only the case on my smartphone or if anyone else has noticed this too?

Now there is clearly a gap on the left on my screen visible

 

I also noticed a layout change, but there seems to be a new button at the bottom of the screen that allows you to switch between the layouts, would send a picture but it wants me to do 2 factor authentication to upload a file for some reason

 

That button makes it even narrower for me for some reason...
I had to do the 2 factor authentication too when uploading my screenshots, but I selected "trust device for 30 days" upon logging in so that I won't be bothered by that in the near future at least.

 

Now the forums take up most of the space with this button yeah

 

A lot more wasted space on desktop.

 

Even worse on my phone, and the display on that was already quite narrow without the blank space

 

So they've shifted from making unnecessary useless changes in the game with each "update", to doing the same thing to the forums itself. My main regret is giving money to these "devs" in the first place and that it's too late for a refund. Haven't played this game or any other in almost a month, and don't plan on doing so again for a LONG time.

Seems like they didn’t take phone users into account with these changes, the site looks off center now and that resize button doesn’t help. Also, apparently you can’t undo post rating anymore?? I got a warning saying “you do not have permission for this action” or something to that effect.

 

I can't say I'm in love with the forum changes either, but damn man, there's no need for the piss and vinegar.

It might be anecdotal, but I've heard the devs can be pretty lenient when it comes to delayed refunds, especially if your computer hardware and/or OS is no longer supported. If you privately contact them politely, they might work with you to refund your purchase. No promises, but it's usually more beneficial to solve problems than to fixate on them.

I've already gotten whatever enjoyment I could out of this game since the start of 2020, but now it's only annoying me more with the changes they've been making and it seems like it's time to move on. Garfield heights was a great map by the way. If only it could've been taken further.
