Hirochi Jezza "No, it's not named after the British guy" Hey all! I've had this sitting on my hard drive in a WIP state for a while now, but I think it's finally in a state where it could be useful to someone other than myself. The Supra JZA80 mod by Est (https://www.beamng.com/threads/toyota-supra-jza80.95061/) is one of the best IRL-branded cars ever made for BeamNG. It's so good, I wanted to use it in career mode, but I'm the specific type of weirdo that cares about BeamNG lore, so I used my base-level-at-best modding skills to rebrand it as the Hirochi Jezza! Required Mods Toyota Supra JZA80 by Est (See install guide below) Hirochi Sunburst TrailCross by Hoang Sean (for the wheels) Reccommended Mods Fully coloured Beambox by joseluisrc_19 (for "Street Tuned" config) Roof Bar Accessories Pack by JumbledNick (for "California Dream" config) Why that name? cuz "JZA"80 So, what did I actually do mod-wise? -Rebranded "Toyota Supra 5-Spoke Wheels" to "Hirochi J-Sport 5-Spoke Wheels" -De-logofied the steering wheel -New exterior badging I also revamped the stock configs using the Hirochi wheels from Hoang Sean's Hirochi Sunburst TrailCross (https://www.beamng.com/resources/hirochi-sunburst-trailcross.34311/) and fixed some typos that were present. I have also added some configs, mainly EUDM and UKDM (EU plates, LHD/RHD, removed side reflectors). How to install: - Download the Supra JZA80 mod by Est (https://www.beamng.com/threads/toyota-supra-jza80.95061/) - Unpack estjza80.zip using any program (WinRAR, 7Zip, etc.) - Unpack jezza.zip from this post into the same folder - Replace any duplicated files - Repack by selecting "art" and "vehicles" folders and right clicking > Compress to... > ZIP file - Copy the new .zip into your BeamNG mods folder - Rip through the Belasco suburbs in your Jezza Turbo Targa Apologies for the complicated install, but this way I'm not just outright reposting the whole mod when I only changed a few files Spoiler: Known issues - There's still a big ol' Toyota badge on the engine. I can't find the necessary texture to change it, as the engine texture that's with all the other textures is not used. - The 'Jezza' badging on the rear gets clipped slightly if the turbo badging is not also present. This is my fault, I simply made it a little too big. - The roof bars float a bit above the actual roof, likely a result of the original mod not being made with them in mind. A small price to pay for cargo-carrying ability. :3 - There is some unknown incompatibility with Better Controller Rumble by stefan750. Controller shakey.
you should do this with a lot of other cars --- Post updated --- oh hey forgot you are the Bruckell flare guy! --- Post updated --- you should put the Bruckell flare on the repo.
Updated main post and images, install process is still the same - Added EUDM and UKDM configs - Ensured all wheels used were either basegame or from the required mods - Added some custom configs - Tweaked wheel spacing to adjust for differing wheel widths
If I could, I would love to! Unfortunately, there are a couple reasons why that's not possible: - I have not had any communication with Est, so I'm not sure how they would feel about me reuploading their mod - Parts of the original mod are taken from other games, namely Need for Speed and Forza. While the reuse of these models is a gray area on the forums, the repo strictly forbids reuse of copyrighted content, including, technically, the use of a Toyota Supra in name or in image. In short, it's against da rules. But I appreciate the interest!
Oh, then i can't use it because i use geforce now if you don't now it , it is a streaming Plattform where you can play beamng Drive on every Device like xbox or PC you can use it if you device is very slow but thank you very much to write this for me thanks for answer
Ahhh I see. Unfortunately that's the price one pays for convenience, I don't believe GeForce Now has any way to manually install mods in the way a standard PC player can.
Basically it just doesn't make sense to me to have Ibishus and Gavrils next to Fords and Toyotas. If that doesn't apply to you, then I'm glad I could introduce you to and/or remind you of Est's Supra mod I should also note that the configs here are cross-compatible with the original, so if you'd like you can just copy all files ending in .png, .json and .pc and ignore the rest. This will allow you to use the configs with the Supra. B) --- actually don't copy info.json, that's the one that renames it in the vehicle selector
Well that's embarrassing, I forgot to include that part of the mod. I forgot that the steering wheel change was a 3d model change, not a texture change Updated original post, or you can just drop this file into [your BeamNG user directory] / 0.35 / vehicles / estjza80
you should do a whole series of this. https://www.beamng.com/threads/2019-toyota-4runner-5th-gen-update-30-12-hotfix.86301/ and https://www.beamng.com/threads/2007-2011-toyota-camry-revamp.82750/
same! I would love this and some others to be lore friendly too. I wish all mods came with a lore friendly version
