when steam broadcasting first came out i had no problem with it, just set my broadcasting settings and started playing (it doesn't start broadcasting until someone click's "Watch game" on your profile, i clicked it on myself using the steam in-game ui browser)
So there's an ASUS board called Z97-AR which is basically a Z97-A without VGA/DVI ports. And the heatsinks are silver instead of gold, which makes it look 10x better. Also the Sabertooth Z97 Mark I board is awesome.
Soon I will have my second R9 270 and I will destroy anyone with a single high end GPU in terms of performance. Also do I have to do anything to make Crossfire work in BeamNG?
yeah.... that's not how it works you still only have 4gb (or based on all the recent news, 3.5gb) of vram
Ok, I was wrong. Don't need more people saying it :| So yes, you will top off 3.5 GB in a 4K SLI setup, but you would also top off 4 GB so there's barely any difference.
I have never heard of that site. Still, keep price in mind. Dual 270s is less than a used R9 290. We'll see..
For me it would be more expensive even. 300€ for 2 new 270s vs 250€ for 1 290. I've done exactly that with 2x 5770s and it's just pointless because you may match performance of high end cards... but the purpose of Crossfire/SLI is to get max possible FPS by using top end graphics cards because a single high end card is not enough. For like when budget does not matter. In your case budget matters obviously and that makes the whole thing pointless. But have fun with it
So one of my really good friends built a computer for another one of my good friends. 15+ years of experience the guy has, puts a 500W card in a PC that has a 480W PSU. Well, gee, now the cards bad. Countless driver re-installations, done everything but re-install the 2 month old Windows installation. What a dip, man. Well, now he's looking at a GTX 650Ti as those will run under 400 watts, says Nvidia. Poor little HD 6770, it didn't stand a chance. And yet somehow, SOMEHOW, the PSU is fine. I suppose that's EVGA quality. But how does over-watting the PSU kill the GPU? Again, something isn't right. Anyone have a GeForce 8400GS I can borrow?
you should tell him to get a 750ti instead, faster, and some versions (like the EVGA Superclocked 750ti) will run on pci-e power, and not use extra power cords from the PSU
