Update Speculation thread

Yeah I'm leaning towards overhaul. I think proportions are going to be tweaked. A whole new drivetrain is enough evidence to say overhaul by itself though

i feel like the update might come out next week, possibly either the 31st if they already fixed any bugs, the 4th because they might still have some bugs, and a Friday is a great time to release an update considering its the weekend, or the 1st if the devs feel silly

 

I totally agree. In the first teaser of the new drivetrain on March 11th ("Do We Hear The Rumbling Of Speculation?"), the idle sounds exactly like the 4x speed version of yesterday's video!

That said, the 3x version sounds like it has a factory idle while the 4x sounds like it has a Race ECU, which idles higher!

 

Is there any chance the update could be this weekend? Do they typically release on weekends? I don't remember. Teaser quantity has ramped up a lot so I assume its imminent

 

I'd assume most of the office would be off of work on the weekend. Releasing the update on the weekend would be a pain as they'd need to pull people from their weekends for live bugfixes.

my school ain't full caught on but sometimes it does what I call a soft block that I get around by logging out and back in again
hopefully the update is this week so it falls perfectly on my spring break
