Yeah the front end is the best part and yeah the rear is at a pretty crazy angle. It still looks better than its successor though, the rear lights are just weird looking on it, imo.

The MK2 RS is just the best looker out of all the Focus range for me.

Dodge Shadow Turbo. No I'm not trolling. I know a guy who's a car expert (he can assemble a Honda engine in his sleep) and he owned one and loved it. Until someone pulled out in front of him and totaled it :(

Also, the Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. I was behind one once and it sounded mean. They look sweet in black, too.

Was scrolling through various French cars after I posted about the Renault and Citroen, and I reminded myself of one of the best Peugeots:

406 Pininfarina Coupe. A very understated and almost sleek looking coupe where most examples were actually hiding a potent and nice sounding V6 engine.

As for designs ahead of their time, the sedan counts in my opinion.

That's a design penned in 1991 that looks like it could've rolled off a lot in 2003 with no quizzical looks. Impressive.

Saab 900. For a small price you get a reliable, safe, beautiful car with good dynamics. Also it's TURBO! I'm love it.

Toyota echo. Great fuel mileage, decently fast, cute styling, simple design, lightweight....

And dual overhead cam, so it sounds amazing.

It was Mr. Regular's car until it was totaled in a snowy accident! And yet it still started and drove just fine despite looking like it'd just hit a wall at 30 mph. Then he got a Honda Fit.

I'd have to go with the Suzuki Kizashi. A very decent package and yet nobody even knew where the nearest Suzuki dealership was.

Classic Fiat Panda. (picture is taken from Wikipedia)

Cheap to purchase, run, and maintain. Very practical for it's size (fits 5 persons plus a bit of luggage, or with the rear bench folded down large packages. Mine even got a tow hitch) I can maintain it myself. And because it's lightweight (empty weight <700kg) quickly off the line at a traffic light, surprising other drivers. Drawbacks are it's unsafe in a crash, noisy at speed and everyone wants to overtake you, regardless of how fast you're driving. Just don't use it for long distances.

    The AE101 Toyota Corolla

    1996-'97_Toyota_Corolla_Sedan.JPG

Little know fact, the Euro version is faster from 0-62 mph than a Golf GTi of the same year.

Skinny tires, no power (US spec), and IRS. It's actually a bit of a grin to drive if the roads are right.

But, yes, the interior and styling are beyond boring.
