Oh so you mean like any other car of its time? With the logic that the commodore is bad because it uses plastic, So all cars are fantastic plastic crap?
This was just to test the strength of a new crash test facility, the car was loaded up with sand, there was bits of frame and safety components removed from the car and as was said above it was loaded up with sand. This is the real crash test
OH GOD NOT THAT MUSIC AGAIN. Still though, that shouldn't be a choice for a car if you were buying one. - - - Updated - - - OH GOD NOT THAT MUSIC AGAIN. Still though, that shouldn't be a choice for a car if you were buying one.
I kinda like it, too. The only problem about it is that it's dull. The US is gonna get it soon, I hope it won't be as dull as it is.
There's no way in hell that the US Government would allow such an unsafe vehicle to be sold here. Where did you hear that?
Proof: FOX News Huffington Worldcarfans Tata's concepts are shown in US showrooms recently, they are expecting to arrive later this year or next year with a base price of USD$3,000.
All of those were posted in 2012. I literally have not heard a thing about this since. No newer articles either.
From the last article: Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata has announced the Nano will arrive in the United States in 2015.
I don't know how they expect that thing to pass safety tests. Once it hit the market, even if it does manage to somehow pass government tests, the IIHS will tear it to pieces. It is a funny little vehicle though. I'd like to have them over here solely because they're so weird looking. It's like a potato on peas. Yes. That's what it looks like. A potato sitting on peas.
I'm not disputing that it says that, I'm just saying there has not been anything at all on the Nano in the US since 2012. There saying they are going to discontinue the Nano if sales don't improve by 2017. I don't think we'll have to worry about it in the US... Possibly any Tata car. http://www.rushlane.com/tata-nano-new-2015-plans-12142926.html http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2014/01/31/tata-nano-crash-test/5076649/ Suzuki-Maruti Alto 800, Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 and Volkswagen Polo were also tested. Only the Ford and VW passed... Kinda frightening. The Tata got 0 stars. Never seen that before.
