I know it's a stupid detail to care about but I like the fact that the tachometer is a bit floaty and not totally in sync with the engine, just like a lot of real tachometers.
My apologies for reporting the bug in the reviews. I think you should include a warning sign on the post as it is a bit of a habit to report bugs in the reviews for some. Anyways, yeah, turning on the headlights does drop the fps. I think its best if you try it on the demo version, could just be a bug with that version. Will update my review once that is fixed.
As soon as I saw the mod's release, I ran to buy it at my local toy store. I love the level of detail, it has a very smooth ride, and I love the sound of that Japanese V8. But when you drive it aggressively like in a chase movie, it starts to fail very quickly, especially the engine, which overheats quickly. This is solved for now by using the "performance" radiator, but if you want to use it for drifting, it's not enough; it overheats anyway. I consider the steering to be very sensitive to bumps; just hitting an edge abruptly and the wheel will hang and the car will be completely unusable. With vanilla cars, the same impact would only dent the rim and perhaps the alignment. It would also be great to have more configurations, which may not be factory original but are possible to experiment with the Avior and modify it to be used for rallying, drifting, racing, police, taxi, off-road, etc., just like a vanilla car, and being able to do whatever you want with the car. It's an excellent mod, worth every penny (CLP $4,290). I hope to see more updates. Regards.
Money well spent. I apologize if I asked too fast or if I sound like like a begger but is a facelift (like the ucf21 ls400) planned?
I made sure it didn't actually change behaviour much, as it was just a change for realism. --- Post updated --- The [Late] models are meant to be this on the Avior, even if they're not quite as in-depth. They include stuff like new wheels, painted lower trim, the navi screen and the optional pinstriping. --- Post updated --- The former has been fixed, and the latter is intentional since I was trying to reduce it to more of an official car like experience to make it lighter. --- Post updated --- Some people have problems with gumroad's card system for whatever reason. Do you have PayPal? This should be a decent alternative if you do, but otherwise I can't really do much.
Ah glad I'm not the only one. Kept having my card declined(I just used it an hour ago so was really confusing) so I thought I'd check here. It's weird cause I've bought a mod off there in the past. I hope the issue gets fixed, cause this mod looks BEAUTIFUL! Great work as always.
Added the 4 and 5 speed "shiftlogic" automatic transmissions from the I-Series to this mod if anyone is interested. Requires the mod below as it calls lua from it: https://www.beamng.com/resources/updated-shiftlogic-automatic-transmissions.16947/
Thank you so much for making this mod. As someone that owned a 1990 ls400 I cannot wait to try this baby out
