Honestly I prefer to pay £3.50 (or even something more) for a mod like this rather than pay $8 or more for a sh*t-meshlap mod.

So, I present (pretty late on), the
1989-94 Procyon Avior!

This mod is paid. I'll be posting links for those who want to buy it when it releases on this post.
I plan for the mod to be £3.50, but I haven't yet decided on where I'll upload it to.

What is it?
The Avior is an early 90s luxury sedan primarily inspired by the first-generation Lexus LS400/Toyota Celsior. All of the differences and deviations from these cars are due to my own ideas or inspiration from competitors of the time, as this car is meant to fit into the lore of the Procyon brand I've been building with cars like the Vela and Centauri.

Features
It features, from OEM (I've probably missed a couple);
- Complete and comprehensive models, jbeams and textures for the exterior, interior, underside and engine bay, with a high attention to detail on every part of the car.
- Full support for USDM, EUDM and UKDM, with enough parts to create other domestic markets.These are complemented by a JDM counterpart (by @Theo Wilkinson), under the Hirochi brand, which is currently work-in-progress.
- Fully comprehensive glowmap, with baked base colour and glow textures for lights and their glass to ensure realism, making use of the new fading halogen lights added in 0.34. It's also recently got @Jfef's (@PostmortemSlayer's) realistic headlight projections for the lowbeam, highbeam and front foglights, with Jfef's permission.
- Large amounts of OEM customisability, with options for gold or silver trimming on the grille and badges, an optional bonnet ornament, privacy glass, clear/orange indicator and foglight glass, switchable exhaust tips and more.
- Many OEM exterior colour options, all with an upper and lower tone, denoted as such in the selector.
- Interior features, such as lowerable sunvisors, triggers for the ignition switch and hazard lights, functional domelights, door entry lights, an openable centre console lid, custom sounds (from a real LS400) for the shifter, indicator stalk and parking brake, full lighting for all switchgear and screens, and both hand drives with all equipment able to accommodate for both.
- 7 interior colour options, with an upper and a lower tone on each.
- Various optional extras and trim level based features for the interior, with an optional carphone in the centre console and a late-model navigation screen as examples.
- 5 OEM wheel options (incl. 15x6.5 and 16x6.5 sizes) with 2 extra aftermarket options (incl. 19x9, 18x8, 17x8 for Folk ZT85, 19x9 for Wangan 5MP).
- Custom OEM tire textures based on a commonly used tire on the LS400.

And for aftermarket;
- Comprehensive support for exterior, interior, engine bay and underside.
- Includes 2 full kits, used on their own configurations, with one using VIP-inspired kit sporting very low down bodywork, a nearly straight-piped exhaust, deep-dish wheels, a turbocharger and various interior accessories, and the other including a more subtle lower body kit, a less intense lip spoiler and a supercharger with a manual gearbox.
- Fully textured, with most using a texture made by myself but some engine bay parts making use of the generic_perf_parts material where applicable.

All models feature a 4.0L naturally-aspirated V8, making 248bhp and about 300Nm of torque. It is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, and can have coil-spring suspension or active air suspension, dependent on grade, and is rear-wheel drive. It weighs in at about 1800kg.

The mod is pretty much entirely independent from any other mod or official car. It only has very basic JBeam basis from official vehicles on the body and some exterior parts, but even these have been edited to a point where they aren't really the same anymore.

Lots of these features are best shown by images or videos, so I've attached a few. They might also include some stuff I've accidentally missed, but there's a 10-image limit so I can't show much.

About the Project
The project has been going since October 2022, with a couple breaks for projects like the Vela, and is nearly done for 1.0 at the time of writing. I'm currently working on the Skin UV after recently finishing the aftermarket content.

The Lore
The Avior, much like its real-life counterpart, was the first car ever sold under the Procyon brand. It was developed to usurp the German-dominated luxury car markets of North America and Europe, with design cues largely inspired by those markets and not its country of origin, Japan, in which the "Procyon Avior" branding was replaced by a Hirochi equivalent with it's own styling and some equipment changes.

The car was produced from 1989, entering the American market later the same year, and Continental Europe and the United Kingdom in 1990. It saw massive success in the United States, due to its superior build quality, technology, reliability and comfort. This success was seen to a lesser extent in Europe, where competitors had much more loyalty from their home countries, and tighter roads made a 5-metre long car less desirable.

As sales tapered off, Procyon introduced an update to the car's equipment and technology in early 1993, giving the higher-end models a basic navigation screen and styling changes such as painted lower trim and new wheels.

The car was offered with 4 distinctive trim levels, expanding to 5 in 1993 as the highest trim was expanded to make the air suspension optional. These offerings were slightly reduced in the United Kingdom as the car wasn't expected to perform as well.

Stylingwise, the front and rear light bars seen on the entire 2022 range were inspired by what's seen here, where the front has a reflector bar underneath the headlights, and the rear has a light bar. These traits evolved over the 35 years that Procyon has existed, but have stayed as a form of brand identity. The star badge and logo haven't changed much at all, with only a change to the font used on the "PROCYON" text.

The name of the car, beginning the Procyon naming tradition, is from the binary star system Epsilon Carinae, also known as Avior. Much like it's modern counterparts, all names of colours and branding are also space-themed.

The LS400 was in its second generation after 1994, so a facelift wouldn't cut it for those years.
