Does anyone know how abs works in BeamNG? From my understanding, abs on a general consumer vehicle has a factory tune based on the expected tire size, and it will only allow the wheel to decelerate at a preset rate (usually rotational velocity based). Does BeamNG.drive use a workaround or behave similarly? I’d also like to know how it’s affected by different size tires and varying grip. Figured this was worth making for general discussion since I think many of us may find this topic interesting.
These ABSes are quite ancient. Most modern ABS systems detect the speed of each wheel, if one wheel decelerates too quickly, braking pressure is momentarily released on that wheel.
