Re: General discussion chat Posting in a thread which can be considered a chat with well over 11000 replies ... You do know that you can make the chat easier accessible than the forum? Just have a tab with http://qwebirc.beamng.com/?nick=Pantoffel&channels=beamng pinned (Chrome supports this), click on connect and you are done. A single click is all you need to start chatting.

Re: General discussion chat IRC is too quick. With this thread it moves slow enough that i can keep up with what is going on, to keep up with IRC would reduce productivity to 0. I also like having everything archived and formatted nicely so i can go back and find something if i need to.

Re: General discussion chat I'd use irc more if everyone wasn't such an asshole. #Beamng is dead, the only thing that ever happens in there are people coming in once every hour and asking "were do i get mod??", then they point them in the right direction and its dead once again. #Offtopic is much more active than #Beamng, but everyone in there is an asshole and there aren't any rules, so good luck. I have my own little channel where I always am with one or 2 other people. I hardly ever venture into the big channels.
