Hi! I believe rally maps dont get enough attention in beam! Ill be converting pretty much any rally map i can find on assetto! (that others havent done) All Creds goto the original authors of all maps. All port creds will go to me, anyone who helps me will be listed aswell. Will not be doing any Willi95 maps as he has requested to stop the conversions of his maps to beamng. Someone is already working on Road to Lake Louise and Col d'Oderen, so please dont suggest them. All people who help in this process will be credited above and listed as a big help and major contributor to this project. I love converting rally maps, as they're super fun and dont take very long. if this is a map for photography, then ill do it sometime and post it on my other thread for photography maps
Did you import the .mtl files along with the .objs? Sometimes the textures work perfectly without doing this but other times they don't.

I would love a port of the wicklow mountains map because im from there. An it has really narrow roads. --- Post updated --- Wicklow mountains map would be class its an AC map.

Just tried the released maps. I have been dreaming about rbr stages in beamng. Really awesome. Kormoran is so good, with an old car it made mee feel like playing Rally Trophy 2 :] One problem though. Physical trees and bushes are a must in a rally stage. Really diminishes the experience having no penalty for running wide. By the way. Is there a quick method to makes these quick trials of free roam to show up in Time trials section of the game? I know there are even some nice time trials in vanilla maps that don't show in time trials section.
I agree with the physical bushes, but with the way assetto ports work, that is impossible, it’s hard to explain --- Post updated --- What do you mean about the TTs? The should appear on the map, if you mean the main menu I’m not sure but probably
The way to give the imported 2D trees collision is to create invisible cylinders (preferrably low-poly, even a hexagon should work) corresponding to the positions of the tree trunks in Blender and parent them to the trees as a collision mesh. Of course, it is quicker to delete the 2D trees and replace them with BeamNG trees with the forest tool if you'd have to do this thousands of times, but Blender has Python scripting, so I'm sure it would also be possible to write a script that could automatically place thousands of colmesh cylinders in the center of tree objects at once. I am not familiar with how to do this, however.
