WIP [REWORK] 2000-2004 Pessima Refresh 0.3

VHS instead of MP3 (i dont even think there are dedicated units that purely do mp3) maybe for early and lowend

consider redoing the trim around the grille, it looks a tad lowpoly and inconsistent, also id make those hubcaps a tad smoother shading instead of sharp angles

 

may sound odd but i think a 1st gen mazda 6 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda6#First_generation_(GG1;_2002)) inspired interior would go well (quite similar to the lexus ES) and would also work somewhat well lorewise because the mazda 6 is the successor the the mazda 626, which heavily influenced the 2nd generation ibishu pessima.

Not really sure what you mean, the grille looks fine to me

Yeah I have a higher quality version, but I figured I could optimize it by baking the normals

 

oh ok i thought it was meant to be all the same scale around the grille, not bigger on the top

i mean just making the bevels bigger so it looks a tad smoother, just a design idea since i think the current ones look a tad sharp

Somehow it's already December... Feels like this year went by awfully fast.

I'm not very good at taking photos, but I like taking them so I took some photos showing off the rear end.

Also, I'd like to get some input on something.

I am working on the taillight glass currently, and trying to decide whether it being more or less transparent looks better.
More transparency allows more glow from the lights to pass through, while less transparency softens it. I am stuck on which effect looks better / more realistic.

 

I'd say that more transparency is more realistic for that time period.

 

I personally like the softer glow of the darker lenses, but that's just me

i think the less transparent one is best, the bloom kn the more transparent one is too much for my liking (and i like bloom), left also seems more realistic ngl

Bros done it again! They look Epic! The tailights looks awesome, I'm not sure what set is better, but right is more realistic so I will go with that.

See if you can make the transparency about halfway between the 2. I think that would be perfect (The right set is a little too bright, and the left set is a little too dark).
