yea i got that part, the 1st rear in the last post with pics actually looks very nice tbh, very 2000s flowy and allat, matches it
the first one and last one work the best, the heckblendes are a thing that died by the late 90s, the 4th one is the best in terms of overall design, then the top chrome trim could be an addon on higher end trims
Also, would be kinda funny and a bit age appropriate for it to have a little shart of i3 diesel turbo for the base model that can barely move the car above 120kph :3, could get away with slicing the pigeon i4 and making it 3 cylinder SOHC, then yoinking a turbo from piccolona and ta dah~ (obviously a stupid ahh suggestion but if this refresh doesnt have it i prolly will yeet something like that together for the funni) --- Post updated --- if you even opened your eyes and read the posts you would see there are new things planned
The pre-rework will still be available for download when the rework is finally released, you are free to stick with that version if you do not like the new design
if you even opened your eyes you would see there are new things added huh didnt know that, still at least one underpowered diesel would be fun, even if not turbod
i personally think 2 and 3 look really good for a pessima (and of course the base bar tail lights are sick) i would love to see what like bumper indicators would look like on it super hype for this rework!
To be honest I loved the old design but I feel like the new ones you've shown are more fitting for a mid size sedan from the mid 2000s and I love where this is going and love your ideas ! Keep it up i feel like you're going on the right path !
USDM model with base spec USDM taillights, USDM might still get the fancier overseas taillights for higher end models
nice! this may just be me, but i think you could change model years from 2000-2004 to 2000-2006 because the car looks modern enough to be made until 2006 or maybe even 2007. also have you got any ideas for interior?
Yeah maybe, I will think about it Yes, I have previously mentioned that the interior will be inspired by the 04 Lexus ES, as it fits the idea I have in mind. The overseas model (Japan, Europe) is meant to be more premium compared to the North American model, and the ES interior fits that style more than any other examples.
Nice! I love this design, it reminds me of various Japanese and European sedans of the late 90s and 2000s. So, will lower end models get a radio, CD player, or MP3 player, and will higher end models get a GPS system just like in the picture? Will this apply to both North American and worldwide models? 'Cause that model of the third generation Lexus ES is of American specification, and it's got a GPS system.
