Kofi update: -steering work -added 6 cylinder engine, has slightly higher rpms but less low-end torque (using placeholder sounds) -added more final drives -applied openables to passenger door -textured boardside -fixed passenger door normals -fixed skin colors (except nodeoline) -edited configs
Thank you! No Hank fire truck, but I do want to make a 10s or 20s LaFrance someday as its own thing. Small kofi update: -textured frame and suspension -fixed uv map so inside of doors doesnt have the skin that the exterior does (by the way, the uv map for the streamline cab is in the liveries folder so you guys can make your own skins if you wish) -updated sounds, plus new sound for flat 6 -updated config pictures --- Post updated --- I don't think those are turkeys
is there anyway we can have the steering move a little more to allow for slightly tighter turns as it is right now i cannot make a turn in the city of west coast usa without making a 2-4 point turn
Hi Miss Flapper, I'm not sure if it's just me, but the headlights seem to be a bit low on quality. Is this just because they are supposed to look more yellowish? I know that up until the 1940s, headlights did a horrible job of lighting up anything in front of the truck or automobile, so this might be the reason why. Also, the turn signals just be on the 30's trucks and the aftermarkets, right? Ford started putting signals on their trucks in 1938, but as an option that raised the price of the truck.
what will the logging configs upfit look like also i think i might have asked this before but will we eventually get the model 9 as well as the omnibuses that were mentioned in the lore thingy --- Post updated --- also i think the box and police upfits would look alot better if they were slightly wider or if the had the option of fenders
Most headlight glass Ive seen from the time have clear glass with a bulb that emmits warm color light. There is going to be an aftermarket turn signal option, yes --- Post updated --- The logging upfit will look similar to the logging trailer, but will have bigger old growth logs. And I am hoping to do the model 7 and the model 9 someday. There is an automation version of the model 7 called the 10 ton, but I want to remake it as a proper mod someday. I did experiment with rear fenders, but I couldnt think of any design that would fit. Plenty of period trucks lacked rear fenders, especially semi trucks like the Hank
Will the bus look something like this? (This bus frame was built in 1917) Also, will the paddy wagons say Belasco and Firwood, instead of just West Coast and East Coast? (Unless they just have "police" written on them)
Something like that, yes. The charabanc is about 75% modelled. The police skin will be remade to have thinner pinstripes and more detail. It will just be generic though.
Sorry for off-topic but i just realised Back then existed a truck for Beam called the Hank B that's it Aside this , progress looks sick
I never thought of that mod. The reasoning behind the name of Hank is my fiance asked me to make a tank truck in Automation and I misheard it as Hank truck.
