Hi there, I know it's possible to combine keys with SHIFT/CTRL/ALT, I wanted to combine one of those with the joystick on my controller. So for example ALT+Left Joystick Down. Or even better, RB+Joystick down. These are for some hydraulic controls which I'd like to have a smooth control over. But I can't seem to do these combinations. Is it not possible? Thank you.
Nobody knows? It would of course be great if I didn't have to choose between steering the vehicle or using the hydraulics. Holding down RB+Joystick is for example how it's done in Farming Simulator. Would be great if I could do something similar in BeamNG for some precision control on the crane that I'm using.
it's already possible to do combo keybinds (e.g. alt+A, alt+S, alt+D for rangebox, transfercase and difflocks), so I imagine it's also possible to bind combos to a controller.
No, this require rewriting a good amount of the input subsystem - which I've been doing on and off for the past half year, and still ongoing. I can't tell when I'll be able to reach a point where I can implement this feature, but it's something I want to do eventually.
Nice, I can do this now! Cool, thanks! About a year ago when I ran into this problem I tried connecting a PS4 controller alongside my old Xbox 360 controller that I normally use and they showed as two separate controllers so I was able to use the PS4 controller only for the smooth hydraulic controls of a crane. Now I don't have to anymore!
