Hi This is Monza 1966, famous racetrack from old times This is full course with track and banking zones There is: - Ai - Most of walls not sticky - Time trial (good luck this is hard) Credits: NotModsgaming (me) - porting Assetto corsa - Track I will update this track because I have some plans for it Screens: I hope you enjoy
Hi everyone, great work! Loving it. Posting here bc but feel free to indicate where if you know where the following question might suit better: does anyone know if some is working in creating the gmaps/topographic version of the Monza circuit premises? The WRC stages are run in the inner streets of the area and it might have potential to create some scenarios. Thanks!
The banking just before the main straight seems to be puncturing tires quite on regular basis. Very cool to see this track in beamng. Ac's physics couldn't handle it to save its life. Bump stops there seem to be very rudimentary.
There is a major issue in the final straight of the fast section that flat wrecks your car. It's some invisible thing within the middle and you cannot avoid it. I have been trying to edit the map in blender but I cannot find where the error is.
man i love this track but its almost unplayble..in the second banking there is some invisible thing that destroy the car...so sad
Ye I know about this problem, Idk what causes this problem, but in future I want to redo this, because this track is my favorite too But it when I'll finish my current project Also as I know there is only one place like this
I am working on it. I broke out blender and I am looking at all the collision models. That's what the issue has to be. I was able to get the fences to stop grabbing you so bad but I haven't found the place on the bank yet, as soon as I do I will upload the repaired file. I love this map too much to let it die.
i kinda solved the clipping thing in the most noob way possible...i remove the part under the banking and now i can race...if the screenshot is loaded you can see what i mean...i'm to cofused on how to use blender to do a clean job..hope can help fot better blender users
I love this track on Assetto Corsa and would love to have it on BeamNG Drive . . . but, it freezes on LOADING. I have tried everything I can do but it just stops at the loading window. Please help if you can. "THANX" in advance if you can.
This map suffers from a problem that a few other old maps also have/had. The map name (not the name of the zip file, but the files in that zip file and the code in those files) has a space character " " in it. One of the BeamNG Updates in 2024 changed something in how the game loads the map data, and since then maps that have certain characters in their name (like a " ") don't load anymore. There is a fix however: There is a tool on this forum for editing maps: The BeamNG Mapping Tools by AlexKidd71 (Link: https://www.beamng.com/threads/beamng-mapping-tools-updated-2026-02-22.89058/). With this tool, you can change the map name to something that works again. I changed the map name from "Monza 1966" to "Monza_1966" and that solved the issue. The map loads normally again and works fine so far. Since I can't just upload the fixed mod file here in the forum without permission from the mod creator, I will post the procedure using AlexKidd71's Mapping Tools here: First, you have to download the Mapping Tools and install it (I used an older version 1.3.3 because that one doesn't need to be installed and I didn't want to install this tool only for this one thing; you can also download that version on the Github-Page linked in the forum thread of the Mapping Tools). I'm not 100% sure the next steps are the same in the newest version of the tool though! The download section on the Github page is on the right side of the website; titled 'Releases'. Click on 'Releases' and under the entry for 'Release 1.5.5' download the "BeamNG_LevelCleanUp_Setup.msi" under 'Assets' (you don't need the source code), then install the program using the msi file. If you want to use the older version 1.3.3 (the latest one that doesn't need to be installed), scroll down on the 'Releases' page and under the entry for 'Release 1.3.3' download the "BeamNG_LevelCleanUp.zip" under 'Assets', then unpack the zip file into a new folder, then launch the "BeamNG_LevelCleanUp.exe" from that folder. After you launched the program, click 'Rename Map' on the left side. Then under 'Select your zipped level you want to give a new name' select the Monza1966.zip file (it should not be the copy in your BeamNG mods folder, but a copy you put somewhere else on your PC; you could make a new folder 'BeamNG' in your Downloads folder for example and put the Monza1966.zip there, and then load it from there in the Mapping Tools). Next you can enter the new name (e.g. "Monza_1966") in the field 'Your new name included in filepaths'. Below that in the field 'Your new display title in info.json' the map can keep the space character (so e.g. "Monza 1966"; I think this is the name displayed in the game menu, so it can still use the space character). After you have entered the new name, click 'Rename Level' below. A small window will pop up and ask if you're sure, click 'Rename'. The program will popup a message that it is done. After that, click 'Build Zipfile'. Wait until a popup message appers saying the Deploymentfile was created. Then in File Explorer, go to the path where the Deploymentfile was created (should be the same folder from where you loaded the Monza1966.zip). There should now also be another zip file with a name something like this: "Monza_1966_deploy_260311.zip" (the numbers are the current date). Rename that to "Monza_1966" and copy it to your BeamNG mods folder. If there still is the original Monza1966.zip, delete that one from the mods folder. Launch the game and load the map. If everything went well, it should work.
