Re: General discussion chat I just play offline. GFWL begone. Also, just found out there's one good song in GTA IV radio, Highway Star. I think they just added it in TBOGT though. - - - Updated - - - I just crashed a taxi, flew off my car, then got run over by my own car and died. 10/10 best death ever
Re: General discussion chat I can definitely feel you. 2nd semester at this school and I'm already completely fed up with the bullshit. They felt the need to redo the perfectly fine schedule for a massively overcomplicated rotating schedule that looks like a puzzle when laid out on paper. They also finally did away with early release on thursdays, after chipping away at it for a few years. Went down from getting out a whole hour early 2 or 3 years ago, to getting out half an hour early this year, and now it's just gone. Reminds me of the U.S. government and our rights. We just can't have anything nice, can we? We had HALF A FUCKING HOUR off one day a week. That whole semester, that added up to just 9 hours. :| Fuck you, Bearden Highschool. Fuck Knox county schools more, though. I also just realized that I had the opportunity to drop my lowest test grade in my AP class, but I never checked my inbox over winter break so I missed that deadline. :| Whatever. I passed with a C in that class, better than I could have ever imagined.
Re: General discussion chat Everything you hate about school will become petty things you wish you could deal with again. Cherish the shitty little problems while you can; real life is a trap!
Re: General discussion chat I'm trying my best. School isn't that bad, it's just loaded with a lot of bullshit.
Re: General discussion chat Faaancyyy. Ive just been using my bass amp as a speaker lately. (one of these) It actually sounds really good, and as an added bonus, 15 inch speaker shakes the snow off of my roof. No roof shoveling for me
Re: General discussion chat You want bullshit, try adult life. Teachers can be insufferable dicks. There can be the cunt in class D. Assignments are boring. But you don't have bills to pay while having to literally phone your boss daily to chase up your pay for the last week. Actually I'm not too bad off as I did have the cash to pay my way and possibly enough to make it to next pay day. But not everyone is that lucky, hell in the past I've not been that lucky. I havent even left home yet either which terrifies me somewhat, if bullshit cranks up so much since school days, it can only get worse when I move out.
Re: General discussion chat I'm pretty much surrounded by yuppies, most of which consider their late 20s the best part of their life. I can understand why they liked it. Still young, on their own, and plenty of disposable income to throw around. But if you don't have a super well paying job it is shit, from what I understand.
Re: General discussion chat Anyone on here know how to get an external drive such as micro sd card to act just like an internal drive?
Re: General discussion chat I just finished TBOGT. Pretty cool. explosive shotguuuuuuuuunnn Now to play TLAD. Although I'll play it knowing the main character is dead :|
Re: General discussion chat I enjoyed tbogt a lot more than tlad, mostly because im not very keen on the whole "you can basically only ride bikes" thing, and the weaponry isnt nearly as good, and yknow, parachutes are awesome
Re: General discussion chat TBOGT MASTER GTA DLC THING lel seriously though out of the 2 EFLC DLC games, TBOGT is the best IMO if GFWL will let you login, i could go for some private invite only MP
Re: General discussion chat Last year my best buddy joined the RAF. Before he left, a surprise party/meal was thrown for him at his favourite place to eat (a carvery actually), quite a large amount of his family and a few friends. It was there that us guys sat on the end of a table as old school friends came to a conclusion. School, you hate it when you are there. But you look back on it and there are fun times. We also established that everybody needs a Robert type character, namely the guy that injures or entraps himself in the most hilarious ways while finding it amusing himself (even where doctors were involved). We spent ages reminiscing on the good times, many of which involved Roberts escapades, the temper tantrums of some random cunt (many of which resulted in him smashing a lunchbox, utterly hilarious), the time somebody randomly discarded a plum over their shoulder and smacked somebody no-one particularly liked right on the nose with it. Its the little things in life that add up. And that continues outside of school too of course. Mondays and Wednesdays. Anime Society meetings, 6-8 watching some anime as you do and then pub after. I wouldn't describe myself as an anime fan, I just watch a bit of it here and there. But a friend said I should go along, I went to 2 meetings that werent so busy, just sat there watching the shows and enjoyed them but not being so busy there wasn't a pub visit after. Decided to come back and go to a proper session, thoroughly enjoyed the ending to Tokyo Ghoul (highly recommend watching that series), went to the pub after, talk to people, have a drink or some food, discover the hilarity of some guys Liverpudlian accent (can only really describe it as larger than life) and thats it. I've been a few times and will be going regularly in future. I enjoyed getting out and meeting with people whom I now consider friends. Maybe that is only 1 thing in my otherwise boring life, but its something that makes me happy at least. - - - Updated - - - I lolled too much for something so simple :/
