Unfortunately I doubt it. I was so excited when I first fluid and then it got canned

Yeah I don't have a ton of hope for the mods release. Honestly it looked pretty close to done. I feel there's probably some stuff you can't see that needed to be fixed but I'd take it now if they wanted to release it in a "WIP Released" state.

Agent_Y & their team (I assume) is currently working on it. Don't expect anything soon though, this is a very large project.

Instructions to read carefully :

You have downloaded the main file called oldsfullsize_codename.zip on the top of the page ?
This is an extended addon pack including Oldsmobile and Chevrolet fullsize cars.

The name of the addon is codename_american_fullsize_series.zip

- First of all please DELETE all the PREVIOUS VERSION of the addon and the Codename main file as they will conflict with the new one. This includes the older custom sounds mod pack that is not working anymore.

Then download the new file addon on the bottom of this post, or on this big link :

DOWNLOAD THE ADDON PACK HERE

And save it in "C:\Users\[your_name]\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.22\mods"

and you're done !

This addon pack features 4 iconics General Motors fullsize cars : the 1980 Oldsmobile 98 Regency and Delta 88, and the 1984 to 1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic and Impala. They are declined into 9 body variants and more than 150 configurations. With tons of custom parts, engine variations, interior trims, for hours of fun !

Lets see those body variants deeper in details :

- Oldsmobile 98 Regency
You will find this huge land boat in 4 body styles, the Sedan, the coupe, the limo and now in exclusivity for the V2.0 release and the three years anniversary of the mod, the very new convertible featuring power windows by Blijo, and working soft top based on a Ar162B prototype. Tonneau Cover Lua by Thomatoes50. All those bodies available in many funky configurations, from rust buckets, to Dragster, Restomods and Off Road crawlers.

- Chevrolet Caprice Classic
The caprice Classic is featured in Sedan variants, Wagon, and now for V2.0 release the new LS variant, luxury car playing the little Cadillac role of its life, with aliminium trim dashboard and landau vinyl roof.
This 3D model is a guest mod by my friend Carface80, a famous GTA modder, that i merged with my own mod and chassis to make it share all thedrivetrain, engines and even some seats with it.
Chevy Caprice and Oldsmobile Delta 88 are close cousins, sharing same B-body chassis and drivetrain, some engines, so it made sense to merge a beautiful already available 3D model rather than creating a new one on my own.

- Chevrolet Impala
Version V2.0 is happy to welcome the impala variant. It's basically a quick adapation with a different front fascia and tailcone also made by Carface, assorted with my Delta 88 basic bench seats that fit pretty well for the usage. This is not an in depth creation of the real impala, with all the interior details. Maybe in the future.
Note that some Chevy Caprice variants of the previous version are now changed into Impala's (Pittburg police and so on...)

- Oldsmobile Delta 88
Available in Sedan, Wagon (called Custom Cruiser) and now for V2.0 the Delta 88 Coupe, as usual in many configurations.

Highlights :
- The V2.0 focuses on adding rusty, weak, highly deformable and self disintegrating variants to all body styles. Before only the 98 Regency had a rusty version. I had tons of pleasure making those textures, jbeam tweaks and dusty glasses. Those skins are all body colorable and you can tune them via the color palette selector.
You can select the engine look between clean, dusty, rusty and dusty and rusty combined, in the engine parts.

- Besides the addition of the Delta 88 coupe, i've added more interior trims for the whole Delta 88 and custom cruiser range, making them more accurate as before only the Brougham seats was available, and the Custom Cruiser wasn't produced with them. So now you can find basic interior with front bench, Royale interior, Brougham interior and bucket seats with floor shifter. Note that these last accessories work in the Chevy Caprice as tuning parts.Also it make street legal custom sedan or convertible cars more interesting.
All seats also available on the 98 Regency.

- Custom wheels are available for both Chevrolet and Oldsmobile cars, and you can select the center cap badge to fit the proper brand. Oldsmobile hubcaps are available on Chevy cars and vice versa, to increase beater, redneck repairs tuning possibilities.

- Now the mod gives support to all vanilla tires and wheels to makes them dusty or in junkard condition. It makes the tuning more consistent.
Just select the dirty tires, dirty wheels, and dirty hubcaps slot in the part selector, according to a nice rusty skin and your redneck repaired or beater car will look way more realistic. Works with all vanilla wheels, tires, hubcaps as well as my custom wheels, tires and hubcaps.
Note that considering the huge amount of vanilla wheels, this is not an in depth and per wheel dusty or age damage effect but just an overlay texture applyed.

Controls tips :

- tailgate : Press O once to have it open from top to bottom, and O twice to have it open like a door.
Beautifull lua magic by Ar162B.

- Convertible soft top : press U

Known issues :
fixed ones will be included in the next update

- Custom Cruiser Wagon has cornering light flare on the fender without cornering lights fixed
- Adjustable Wagon springs have an annoying buggy noise fixed
- Limo TV needs a texture fixed

It's a new skin called metal paint, and i had to duplicate some other skins to get them have the metallic paint too (No chrome, restored chassis, two tones, and so on...)

i love this mod i have plenty fun with it i love the addons, but if i may say with the update the doors can be opened i miss this function in this mod will this mod be updated in the feutrue so we can open the doors ??? it feels like i miss this function
