Every day, more and more at least functional mods are getting locked behind a high price tag, if not a costly subscription. It has been going on for a long while, but it's worse than ever now.
Hi everyone, I haven't been active here for a long time. But nevertheless, all this time I have been gradually refining this mod. And it all came to the point that I decided to add another modification, the T-80 BVM. The 3D model was completely replaced, it was taken from War Thunder. I made textures on my knee because I don't know how to make them properly. There are no textures of the main color, you can add them yourself. In order for you to display the texture of the tree, you need to go to the material editor, select a tank and find this texture there, then specify the path to the "tree" folder. The sound of the shot has also been replaced and it sounds too quiet. In general, the mod is very crude, but you can make your own adjustments.
So you are telling me, this mod is paid? And the best new version of it is a crude, textureless war thunder port and borderline meshslap that you have to make yourself? Oh no! Anyway, time to throw drm and capitalism completely out the window and endorse software piracy
I konow it's sarcasm, but this mod is free and has always been. The problem is all those other new mods that for some reason cost $5-10 EACH. And with mods there's no guarantee that they'll be mantained every time they break (which is deppresingly often these days).
We have failed. Companies and the rich in general have beaten us into submission. Their greed is now unstoppable, and there is no stopping them anymore.
