It was made as a joke commenting on Autron's rebadging practices.

i hate that people are 5 staring it because "ha ha it a joke so im going to rate it 5 and call it good cuz funny"

 

its worse when people give it 1 star not because they dislike joke mods but because they can't tell its a joke mod

 

whle yes it is kinda joke mod, it isnt the most clear it is, annd its really demotivated @ibishucovet1987.txt from his autron, he never got premession to use autron, it beaks the lore that had been made for autron, and it really could ahve jsut been a "funny pessima" then a bad autron, firther ruing the autron reputation as "bad ibushu rebadges"

 

The mod is an amusing piece of social commentary which reflects the state of the quality and ugly design of many mods released on this site at the moment. Although the name autron was created by someone else, it is not intellectual property and can be used by anybody without permission or even credit.

I agree. This could've easily been a random new rebadge name that is only used for this joke mod, but no, it had to be an Autron.

no he changed that after the cacatron started existing, because of the cacatron, before you only needed to credit him.

im pretty sure the last CVP update was planned way before the cacatron existed, since beamngboy had already sorta moved on from it

 

But releasing this "joke mod" clearly didn't help. I was talking to SSRG before the crapatron had been released, and it sounded like this was going to be the last update anyway.
