    Main model: Assetto Corsa Game Developer.
    LM model parts: Forza Horizon 4/5 Game Developer.
    Textures: Assetto Corsa and Forza Horizon 4/5 Game Developers, Speed_freak13, ANS400, BeamNG Devs.
    Basic Jbeam Collision Model: BeamNG Devs and Adam Gunchokov from what I can find.
    Speed_Freak13: Revamp, HD textures, model tweaks, partialmodel remap, Jbeam performance tweaks etc.
    Adam Gunchokov: Original Port from Assetto Corsa from what I can research.
    ANS4000: Made 2 configs and came up with this releases in-game name.

    This is a mod that was released many years ago on Russian mod sites. Adam Gunchokov who originally ported the car over from Assetto Corsa, credit goes to them for porting the car into BeamNG and porting it onto a 2015 game build of the Civetta Bolide.

    Around August 2023, I took it upon myself to revamp the mod and improve it to the current game's standard. I started working on this for personal use in my free time. I've since sunk hundreds of hours of my free time into this mod. Please be respectful of all the effort put into this mod by me and the others who worked on it originally years ago. Please don't pass this car off as just a "mesh-slap". Just me alone, I've put in enough effort for it to be undeserving of this title.

    Alexthetrainliker: Came up with this car's in-game name and contributed to this release with his J58 logo texture that was part of the original release. I pasted it onto the car body. Thank you, Alex.

    --BUGS--
    SOME THINGS ARE BY DESIGN AND ARE NOT BUGS (Steering wheel not aligned to the center of screen and the lack of the new halogen headlight design for example)
    Rather bad collision physics
    Things may be missing here and there or wonky(brake disks in some part selections are crooked when turning or the brake pads are not aligned to where they should be on the brake disk)
    Not all prop gauges work (will be fixed in V4)
    Many textures are not PBR and some have underlying wireframe UV still visible (will be fixed in V4)
    LM Chassis config in Career mode after you buy it will freeze game if you try to buy the only engine available for it (Whoops! For now, you will have to deal with saving up around 1,000,000 BeamBucks)
    Others I have missed (I am sure you autists will let me know o_O )

    No hard feelings with Alex, but we are just going to do our separate releases from now on. Whether they update theirs further than what it is right now, I have no idea. I need to be able to release when it is ready, and they don't seem to have time to keep up with me, which is fine, so I took it upon myself to do it this way, I've let them know so I hope they understand. I think they will.

    The reason there are 3 freaking hotfixes is because I am the only beta tester, and I suffer from ADHD, so I miss shit XD. My fault, not really theirs. It bugs me when there are people not getting the most current release available - granted that is kinda the individual's fault because they were not going to page 6 - but now it is very clear what is current, and what is not.

    Plus, Alex can make their release as goofy as they like, and it will not affect mine. I've given them permission to use my version all the way up to v3 hotfix 3. After that, if they want to add features to their release, then they need to do it themselves.

    I think that is generous, because most of this mod is my doing, aside from the ORIGINAL person who ported the model and slapped it together way back in 2015 and the original game developers that made the models, of course. I've sunk 11 months and hundreds of hours into this mod.

    my configs are broken, for some reason they classify as custom pc configs so uh turn that on i guess and they do not show the info for some reason

    you have to make them in the showroom editor for one, and the reason they don't have an info file is because you didn't run the automated batch file to make the car go through automated tests. Or you could have made the car info file by copying one of mine, changing it, then renaming it to the proper config.pc name.

    Yes.....that is a minor design flaw with all J58's.....plus most of these LM variants have been beaten within an inch of their life for years after they were stolen. All of the LM's have a fire extinguisher for such occasions.

    (on a serious note, I am working on a fix. It is something to do with the size of the gas tanks I think, or the brakes getting too hot XD. If you see the car on fire go to the "fun stuff menu" and select extinguisher. After watching you video, I think it has to do with the brake material I assigned to the brakes in the game catching on fire because it is too hot.)

    So I guess the "tape over the badges" approach still works for getting past the Stuck Up Motor Co. lawyers? Good to know

    If only it were that simple as "tape over the badges", but for now, yes, that and I have changed it enough, I think, to be considered "fair use". Plus, it's not like I am making money on it.

    The car in-game DOES burst into flames upon a hard impact with a wall, due to the carbon-kevlar gas bladders, but it isn't supposed to have the rotors catch fire. Carbon-Kevlar is VERY flammable. The cars are made mostly from that material to save weight.

    I'm not sure Ferrari cared about that last part when they blew through here a while ago. What else did you change?

    Removed all of their badges, modeled on the in-game ones, changed the textures on the dash. I even removed the design studio they used to associate with from the car and replaced it with a J58 logo.

    Removed the flip headlights on the LM variant, replaced the headlights with the foglights and made the turn signals headlights. Now the LM variant features triple-beam headlights shown here.

    If they come in here and tell dev's to remove it, I'll just have to change it more, I guess. For now, I don't think they have noticed. Shshhhhh.

    Brakes and wheels WILL catch fire if you drive the cars ragged enough around a track braking. To fix this, periodically pause the game press ESC, then click "fun stuff" then click on "extinguisher", then un-pause. This will keep the car from catching on fire. This is a bug with beamNG, the brake thermals say the hubs and brakes are fine, but the wheels still catch on fire. Nothing I can do that I know of. It's part of BeamNG.

    That's strange because I've never had that happen with vanilla cars, and I've pushed some of them to the point where they pretty much had no brakes left.
