So I went through all my drawers of my desk (had it sence preschool in my room) and in one of the drawers I found papers from all the years of school spanning from 6th grade ALL the way to preschool. The main contents were artwork, activity sheets, and a BUNCH of random drawings of machines, cars, and people. Many of the drawings were from 4th grade to preschool and a remembered drawing 90% of all of them. throughout the hour of searching through the papers I had an extreme nostalgic experience, which felt cool remembering all of this stuff. After this I had an idea to share this experience with all of you and maybe you all could post your nostalgic experiences that you've had onetime or another!

I recently found a 1tb backup drive that's been plugged in for 2 years.

    It's backed up to 2010.

I've found my original creations from NR2002/NR2003 and even some ancient Need for Speed screenies.

The most vivid memory: NFS:MW05. Fiat Punto. Flat black, ugly ass body kit, tribal decals. Everything else was stock. Dumbass me never upped the innards and I paid for it when Pontiac GTOs swarmed me.

I have a similar one with NFS Underground 2, except the opposite. Having a red MX5, doing those magazine shoots where you got points for showing off your car, etc. I remember thinking at the time "it'd be funny if I made the car look stock but have it really tuned to trick the other racers", despite knowing the "other racers" were just AI. I guess I was making sleeper cars before I knew they were a thing.

I recently installed a gba emulator on my psp and played pokemon.

I named my pokemon "Oh shit it" with hilarious results.

Damn, GBA on my PSP was one I was going to use.

Doom, I didn't play as a kid but feels weird to play. Highly recommended game.

Lego is probably what gives me a real wave of nostalgia though.

I used to play with legos a lot as a kid. I still have two lego cars on a shelf in my room, a Ferrari Enzo and a lamborghini gallardo.
I'd really like to buy some lego technic sets, but they're too expensive. A while ago I saw a big car with a working v8 engine. want.

oh gosh the memorys. Legos, then technic. I used to have a set like this set. It was the ferrari technic I also used to make custom cars. I once made a minivan with sliding doors, rear dif and engine. multi colored of course. oh this brings back memories.

Damn, I never had diffs :( I also only had 2 pistons to make engines with and only 2 springs in my collection :( Nowhere near enough parts to make independent suspension or 4wd or anything, I did make a functional 3 speed + reverse gearbox though. Also built a diff once from assorted technic pieces but it was fairly flimsy and large.

Same here, I only have two springs and two pistons. I once tried to make an independent suspension and failed.

I did independent rear with gear drive. That left nothing for front.

I have a crap load of old games from the late nineties to the early 2000s.

Ask and I probably have it

Most are either mine or neighbor's junk I got at a garage sale. The nostalgia is strong :D

Speaking of games I have a Ps2 that my dad bought me for a birthday present in preschool and I STILL HAVE IT, it works perfect and I have the original memory-card too, looking through all of the contents of the memory-card makes my nostalgia feel huge. :) I even remember my dad showing me the ps2 box after he came home on day in the garage.

LoL xD I remember doing this when I had the same game as well (one of my favorite games) I even did it on other racing games!
