The SBR4 kinda looks like the Scion FR-S to be honest, but hey, that teaser made my day

Tuning update? They said they would add a couple body kits to those cars, because they were lacking.

I know it was made clear that those cars are not getting remastered this update, but I still hope pessima gets some suspension/handling tweaks. This thing really deserves to be a bit more playful, especially the gtz variant. As for now it is a bit dull despite the somewhat exciting power delivery and engine sound.

lets not forget the Pessima mk1 got the Better sounding vivce engine sound ( witch come with that car in 2020 ) as well as ETK i4s and the new pessima. )

Seems like this update maybe bigger then we think?

    SBR/Pessima mk 1 parts.
    T-series v8 and more Axel

    POSSIBLE the D-series
Heavy duty ( i think that will come in the dec update seeing the devs said it will be a small update )

gonna be a good little update ( good things come sometimes in small packages after all ;) )

Also, because of the major coding update, we might get a better regenerative braking system. If I remember correctly I saw on the career mode thread that the original system was kinda thrown into the game but we might get a real system now.

I don't understand, why don't they wait to do a remaster. Because when they'll do it, they'll have to redo the new parts they created. It isn't more work for nothing ?
Many peoples are impatient to have a remaster of the first pessima. And when we annouce that it got new parts, tehy don't do a remaster. And more, the first pessima looks more fun that the second.
    So why ?

I would say the SBR4 is conceptually similar to the Hino Contessa, mainly because of the Japanese rear engine 4 cylinder (although an i4 in the Hino), which makes me want a 1960s SBR4

Maybe they are the same as the new Gamble 500 configuration of ETK I series.Developers may think that these cars are not within the short-term consideration of remaster.

They're probably doing a quick refresh to avoid launching an update with no content, after all they did say they're focusing on backend stuff this time round

Yeah, but the worst offender for me is sbr4. The thing is in strong need of ground up overhaul. Just look at that interior mess…

I think first gen pessima looks more fun only on paper. The newer one is much better to drive.

Many people also say pessima mk2 needs awd as an option. I like it how it is though. It comes from an era that many manufacturers irl stopped offering awd. Just look at escort rs cosworth/focus rs, vectra A/vectra B, celica 205/230, alfa 155/156, alfa 164/166, bmw e34/e39 and so on… In all cases they axed any drivetrain options.

You people will come up with reasons to complain about literally anything.

I really dont think a few bumpers are going to affect the amount of work a future remaster would need. Its not like both these cars are so far behind they need remaking from the ground up. Even if they adjust the proportions theyd just include these parts in any morphing they did alng with all the previously existing parts. Even if they redo the UVs completely, its a single set of bumpers and not a big deal. Theyre probably on a separate texture anyway and wouldnt be affected.

What exactly do you want them to do the, remake it because you subjectively think it looks bad? "Ground up overhauls" only happen to vehicles like the Bolide, Pigeon and Tseries that have deeply flawed, unrealisic mechanical designs. The SBR is objectively does not, at most it needs a bit of a refresh, underbody/suspension textures, PBR lights etc

Besides, even if the SBR or Pessima got a remaster/refresh, you insatiable children would just complain that it wasnt a different car. "What about the sunburst? moonhawk? burnside? hopper? devs dont care!" you'll all cry.

You’re new here so I won’t hold against you your disrespectful manner od speaking. But maybe reddit is more of your thing. Also nothing you said was objective, so refrain from misusing the word.

The argument about unrealistic mechanical designs is interesting but could you elaborate further? Was the d-series also flawed in this manner? What about BX, LeGran, H-series. Could you point out the specific issues that predestined them to be remastered? Also Grand Marshal had a major structural change (separating body from chassis) without the whole „remaster” treatment, so your argument is dead in the water again.

In my opinion some cars deserve some visual love because they stand out like a sore thumb amongst the newer, more polished content. The aim of most developers is cohesion, especially from such a devoted team as beam’s. Yes, it is subjective, because it is my opinion. If you haven’t noticed the thread has „speculation” in it, meaning it’s mostly opinion based. Don’t jump the gun then.

Honestly while I don't like SBR4's design (its rear looks unproportionally large, in my opinion it should've been a 2 or a 2+2 instead of a 4-seater), changing that would require making basically a new car so it's fine leaving it as is and focusing on other cars that need more attention.
