Don't get me wrong, I was in the middle of writing a long-ass essay sending my regards before this, but I thought it was FREDDYCR :skull: Seems like he's gone from the forums tho, couldn't find his name anywhere using the "@" tag predictions feature. I wonder what happened to him... Anyways, as for you, SaiMonicL, I can't exactly relate since I haven't really gone through the stress of making a top-tier quality BeamNG mod (I've only been doing minor camera work and basic JBeam editing on Automation mods), but I CAN understand. I've heard stories from corners all over the internet (not just BeamNG, there was an FNF mod once that got cancelled due to the mod taking a heavy toll on the author's mental health) on how stressing it can be to make high-quality game mods for your community (ESPECIALLY when you're doing more than 70% of the work), and also just how crucial your mental health is to your wellbeing (honestly, after reading all those scientific psychology experiments about pushing humans to their limit of stress, I would honestly rather lose my life than lose myself and my mind). It's understandable how you had to make a... tough... OK, maybe not-so-tough (it's obvious you had to preserve yourself irl) decision, and put off modding for a while to take a looooong hiatus. I hope you get to take a nice, well-rested break, and hope you recover soon quickly! I honestly would've done the exact same thing if I were in your shoes. (... Don't tell anyone this, but I actually do put mental health as my priority over everything else that I have to take care of in regard to my body, including physical health - I once started skipping lunch for a short period of time)

Hey mate, maybe a bit late to the party but just wanted to say that i'm sure you have done extremely well with progression of the mod and though you have left for your personal reasons, i'm sure it's not unnoticed! ..and i'm sure, you will return when you feel ready to do so. I'm sad to hear you are struggling with your mental health.. you are not alone my friend! No one deserves an explanation from you, we, and certainly I are not judging you in any way - I wish you a speedy recovery with your situation, your health is first priority no matter what - though this isn't exactly the right place to express your personal reason, there are people out there to talk to - and on that, though i am not suggesting I am the right person to open up to but privately if you was to send me a dm, I am more than happy to listen and give you what advice i can give ..from someone who also struggles with mental health.
