That’s pretty much what I’m going for --- Post updated --- Thinking about it now, I’m not sure it’ll be under the D-series vehicle selector, i’m pretty sure the d-series already has the most config of any vanilla vehicle (not sure of the exact vanilla number, but I know I get over 300 with mods). They’ll probably make it a separate vehicle to avoid further overcrowding the d-series selector.
I guess because it's not supposed to be so luxurious? I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at. But the car feels so lackluster in parts though
The only thing a medium duty truck will share with the D15/25/35 is the cab/interior and maybe the largest gas engine. And that's assuming we don't get a hi-roof version The frame, front clip, and majority of the mechanics would all be unique so there isn't much reason to share the selector space. It wouldn't be the first vehicle that's seperate in the selector but shares some parts (Roamer/D-Series share a platform) I still think it's safe to say this is a full on medium duty truck. The smallest truck I've seen with a tanker the size of the one in the teaser is a F550, which is still a step up from the biggest D-Series we have. Plus there's still the raised body and the box under the driver's door which both indicate a medium duty truck opposed to a HD pickup frame It also fills several niches we need filled, including some important for career mode
if it all goes to plan, we are probably going to get an update around september, or latest october. As krallopian has stated that they plan to do Christmas and another update. (i doubt they would do less than 2 months between updates?). Other than the d-series related vehicle, and more t-series things, i think we wont get any other remaster or new car for 0.33
An unsubstantiated suggestion, but it would be nice if we could add our stickers to the skin editor without manually adding them to gameengine
My idea was that it might be derived from the D45 but further beefed up, or like the Gavril Durham. Either way you are probably right, the mechanical differences and the fact that the D-series selector is already pretty full, it will probably be separate vehicle. The name is still unclear though, would it simply be called D55/65 and (possibly) D75 for a hypothetical tandem rear axle version, might it have some lore version of the Kodiak/ Topkick names along with numbering, might it use similar model designations as the T-series, based on class and number of axles, or an all new model name/designation system?
possible somthing along the lines of the gavril (insert model name here) (insert letter here) 55/65/(maybe)75 ex: Gavril Dura-Bilt J-65
I don't think the update will be as late as October, probably either late this month or next month. Late August would still be more than 3 months since the last update. We've already gotten the first teaser, so it probably won't be multiple months still at this point.
They added the Bastion (my personal favorite "newely added" vehicle since I got the game) only 18 days after 0.24 dropped. So they may be working on 0.33 and 0.34 at the same time and do something similer.
Yes. Check the steam news page and go back to 0.24. It was mentioned in the 0.24.0 news article but was not actually released until 0.24.1. So i'm wondering if they may be doing a parralel development of 0.33 and 0.34 content. This would allow for a short update window so they could release both updates later in the year. (hopefully its the normal 3 month schedule though...)
i dont think they do updates as a thing really, they are doing a bunch of content and when they are in the stages of finishing it they create whats gonna be on the update itself
I found this list online so I started to speculate: So I start to wonder maybe we will see official Step Van and City Truck like for example Mule in GTA 4 ("Japanese Truck like Mitsubishi truck"). Because City Truck and Step Van are basically missing.
