Hello, this is my first time making a thread like this, so there may be some mistakes. Anyway, the mod I'm making has a problem mainly with the front suspension. First I added 4WD to a Pigeon-based vehicle, but if I use the parking brake while driving in 4WD mode or put on a larger wheel, the front suspension breaks down. I'm looking for someone who knows how to solve this. Thank you. Second The front suspension of a vehicle based on a hopper doesn't work properly. The front suspension in question is a scaled-down version of the hopper's, but it breaks or the steering becomes unusable.Could you please tell me how to make the suspension smaller?
Video of the problem occurring --- Post updated --- Someone please help me. Please. Really please. --- Post updated --- The problem with the light truck has been solved. The cause was a mistake in the description of the half shaft, which caused the half shaft to not function. Thank you.
But the half shaft is out of the running... what should we do? --- Post updated --- The problem was probably with the powertrain. Since the 4WD system was reused from the D-series, most of the parts were the same as the powertrain of the D-series, but the half shafts were the only parts that could not be reproduced.
The front end beams are too stiff I would say. Alternatively, try fiddling with the beamStrength values for the front end. The half-shafts and axles. Look at what nodes are breaking by pressing Ctrl+N and you will notice what is broken. Look up the node names that broke in the Jbeam and fix their beamStrength and beamSpring to stronger and weaker respectively. Then see if that fixes it. Edit: I guess you fixed it already. Good.
I still haven't solved it, so thanks for letting me know. --- Post updated --- Thanks to you, the problem was solved when I removed the body. However, the problem occurred again when I attached the body, so it is highly likely that there is an interference with the body. --- Post updated --- The seat is likely interfering
Seat has nothing to do with the axle or half-shaft beams/nodes. What node does it say breaks when your wheels fly off? Turn on Node Debug with Ctrl+N.
The corrupted node is "Fh2l.Fh3r", etc. --- Post updated --- The problem no longer occurs as long as the parking brake is not used while driving on-road in 4WD.
