Solved! Having no patch notes is kind of weird. Patch notes would be nice! Edit : Patch notes v0.32.5: https://www.beamng.com/game/news/patch/beamng-drive-v0-32-5/ A big thanks to the BeamNG Team for both answering to my post and for all the continued support. Can't wait to see what the future updates will hold.
I posted the changelog in steam news myself, but the people in charge for communications will likely sooner or later update other locations too
Is nobody going to talking about how someone at Disney really installed a video game on a computer at work ?
I feel like I read somewhere that it was a personal computer that had network access... It might have been someone who was accessing company files through their personal laptop at some point for some reason
:skull: --- Post updated --- nice, im autistic and i collect toy cars, but im not really that smart lol
Steam Patch notes: v0.32.5 (July/23, 2024) Game Engine This release implements more security improvements. Please update as soon as possible Fixed a bug that some users might suffer while the Ctrl-F framerate panel is displayed
I remember copying the files to beamng when it first released onto a usb drive and then ran it on a school computer.
I also have autsim. And i correct model cars haha. and have a massive passion for this game and cars. OT I wonder if we get a sunburst remake What you rather have. hatch or a nice coupe. A CVT crappy 2000s coupe ( sunburst ) seems fun.
I downloaded version 0.21 (couldn't run pbr version of beam) on my School device a Suface 7 Pro and it would get about 30-45 fps on gridmap and would turn into a heat pack. I had to minimise screen resolution and set graphics to lowest to get the 30-45 fps, It was honestly hilarious for me it was even running.
Mod approvals are paused. We must be getting close! Also I’m headed to DisneyLand today to maybe catch some employees playing beam
Ask them if they have any 3rd party mods ;D As a side note, I’ve only found a single source Venture claiming the ‘group’ (I don’t believe it was a group) claimed they did it through a ‘game add-on’. Nowhere have I found this statement being true. And without being able to locate where the ‘group’ claimed this I don’t know how valid the Venture article was. Back up a few months and you’ll remember a malware investigator by the name of Eric Parker releasing a video about “BeamNG Players Are in Danger” where this same hacker/group was releasing loaded mods on 3rd party websites. They also claim to be tapping into numerous downloads stemming outside of BeamNG though so the tie between Disney and a BeamNG specific mod doesn’t seem to be certain. When there isn’t much to speculate on for updates I go down other rabbit holes. Also I don’t think this ‘group’ cares for Club Penguin, furries, AI, or any of their other motive/identity claims. Everything surrounding them is loaded to break headlines because I believe they crave the attention. Quick summation but maybe some of you are interested in a brief overview.
