Either it's some graphical issue or mod conflict. If Sunburst's grilles also look like that (because they use the same material) then it's something else and not this mod. If you have any drivers that need an update, do that.

none, the mod doesnt has a chime of any sort, if you heard it on beambots video, thats been edited in by him.

 

You might be getting confused with the Urbanlore mod pack, several vehicles in that mod have start up chimes

Hello, and i'm writing this post to announce that i'm going to release a new update for the mod pretty much soon. It will be still in a 1.1.x line of versions because it's not a major update in my opinion, mainly it's just fixes which is what the 1.1.x is about (after all the first update was the after release fixes).

However apart from the fixes like the gearbox ratios and other things, i have also gone a step further and not only did slight rework on some wheels, but also the mesh and improved or added some details. And then i decided to add a few more stuff as my way to thank you all for all of the feedback you have provided since release. It may not be much but it's still something, especially considering that i haven't updated the mod since April.

When the update will be released? Well, since it's monday tomorrow (in my time anyway), and approval team usually checks from monday to friday, it'll come out tomorrow. By the time i'm writing this i have done most of the stuff i need and now i have to check some things before packing it up and publishing it on repository.

Petitron is also going to get an update, i started making it in may but i'm currently taking a break from it, It's mostly finished, just can't decide on the interior choice for it.

how about a crash test skin

 

i'm more concerned about the fact you're replying to a message from February when the mod was still in development. Although to answer the question, i don't really think i'd like to add a skin for crash tests... i'm not sure how many people would use a config with that on.
