Hate to be that guy, but if you are going to make an S15, the forza mesh is literally the worst choice you could have made lol, it is so inaccurate to the point it has become a meme of sorts there are plenty of other racing games that have S15s such as the GRID or NFS series that could be used (not sure how accurate these are, i imagine not quite as bad as the forza mesh) and I should probably also address the elephant in the room, but currently there is another S15 in development, the creator of which has gone to great lengths to ensure the mod will be as accurate and detailed as possible, so it seems a bit redundant to have 2 mods of the same car In a lore friendly situation you could at least justify it by having two cars based on the same irl model, but both mods taking different interpretations/making different stylistic choices
Pretty sure the original modland version used the forza model, and the remasterer probably doesn't know how to import another model.
First the original model was used in both previous versions the original model from 2015 and the first revision back in 2018-2019 and as i didn't know anything about russian sites saftey and quality i thought it was a good mod but now as i was working on it i saw a lot of imperfection like 200bx Jbeam the headlights pointing somwhere else then they should and that awfull glass breaking texture As for the other S15 i thought the author got banned cause i remember him being banned but i don't know it was like 1-2 years ago if i remember correctly
He did get banned from the forum, But that doesnt mean he had to stop the mod, instead he just moved to discord and continued posting updates there. --- Post updated --- The fact that nothing lines up compared to the IRL car, Forza models trunk is the dead giveaway as it heavily angles down.
oh didn't know about that well until Simulator Adventures didn't made a video covering upcoming mods --- Post updated --- everybody knows this model is bad quality especialy in Forza community
ETA on it is still probably years away as grass grows quicker than he gets stuff done. Sad to think the CarX model is far superior.
anyway ill go now cause new update is cooking up today --- Post updated --- it was leaked S15 is going to get rescaned or smh but probably for FH6 if it ever happens
Damn, some people are so ungrateful.. Who cares if the model isn't a 1/1 replica of the irl thing?? Oh, someone else might be making a better more 1/1 exact line by line nut and bolt model, so what? A lot of those that did get done for BeamNG will never ever be released, hence the fake paid modland attempts. This mod is badass, it handles good and resembles the S15.. szaqunx didn't even have to share his rework of the mod and could have kept it to himself, but no he figured let's allow others to have fun with it... The low quality interior is absolutely fine it's surprising it has a working rev limiter, those who played GRID & older games would know even them models in game do not have a functioning interior, their models are low quality too even if it's silvia looks more accurate.. This model looks to have been from Forza then converted to gta sa then converted to BeamNG.. The entire point of this comment is that people should be grateful it's been shared in the first place it's a really fun mod and when bumpers come off it has a detailed chassis even if it is low quality looking the fact it does is awesome & the handling & drifting is epic
Nice. Despite the fact that it uses a Forza model, it looks adequate enough. Not bad, but not dev quality either, so. I'm still waiting for the other S15, though.
