Jbeam is difficult. I tried to edit Jbeam to improve the deformation, but the deformation improved, but a hole appeared...
I am currently having a major issue with missing body polygons from spawning, any suggestions on what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated.(From the moment they are spawned, they are missing polygons.)
The holes appearing in your mesh are often caused by wrong JBeam values. In this case, the beamDeforn value is set to low on the entire mesh, so the beams break to easily. I´d recommend, to check out this page, because it helped me a lot, while creating a JBeam from scratch: https://documentation.beamng.com/modding/vehicle/intro_jbeam/ If this dosen´t helps, you can message me in PM and I´ll look what I can do when you send me the file.
I don't think it will be cancelled, but it is on a break. --- Post updated --- Development is ongoing, but we're still thinking about release. That's why we're putting it on hold. We apologize if this has caused confusion.
Since "on hold" would have made it appear suspended, I changed it back to WIP. I'm truly sorry if this caused confusion...
They might be using a translator, as the person is from Japan. Non-Latin based language is normally harder for online translators to translate.
I know you said earlier that you had issues with sliding doors but for realism’s sake I still think you should make have the door physically be there on the van, even if it’s not actually openable or anything. Just having the door there for cosmetic purposes, plus if you do figure out how to make it open in the future, it’s already there.
I am having some problems with the translation, so I will try my best to make the text as easy to understand as possible. That looks good, I think I'll install sliding doors just for looks.
