Hi, could you send me your game log?
The file is "beamng.log" in your userfolder.

There's no error in here that would explain it.
I just tried a fresh install in safe mode with the repo version and the Assistant worked completely fine.

Hello
I just installed your mod like a day ago (I think) and I ran into a problem that happens quite often for me
Almost everytime I try to add a song to my playlist (I already put the song files in the path: C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.32\mods\unpacked\zeit_radio_usermusic\art\zeitRadio) it says this

Do you know how to fix it? I also have Discord if its easier for us to solve the problem there

Yes, just create a second playlist. I forgot that you can add songs to the first one which I wanted to reserve for the default songs, so right now it tries adding music to a list that doesn't exist.

Hello, just need some help with this issue I'm having for the mod, used to work well for a while but stopped recently after I deleted and reinstalled the mod due to a small issue and now I can't add any song without this error showing up. Any input will be appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: fixed this issue, just had to start the game in safe mode then go back and launch it again normally, worked for me

All that is required is a MP3, WAV, OGG or FLAC file, a cover image is optional. There are three ways to add these files to the game:
1. Additional mod zip. (Best method, also applied by the Assistant)

These instructions are also executed automatically when opening the Assistant.
Download the attached template zip file ("zeit_radio_usermusic.zip") and place it in your mods folder. Then, unpack it within the game.

Click the "Open in Explorer" button, navigate to the end of the folder structure and move your files into the folder with the file telling you to. Do not re-pack the zip.
Files will only be removed if you delete the zip. They are not affected by mod updates, game updates or cache clear.

2. Userfolder.

Create a folder called "art" directly in your userfolder, the folder that contains your "mods" folder. In the newly created "art" make another folder called "zeitRadio". Put your files there.
Easy to access, however files will be removed with the next cache clear.

3. Mod zip.

Unpack the mod through the game using the method above: search for "Radio", and click "unpack". Then, move your files to "mods/unpacked/zeit_radio/art/zeitRadio".
Files will not be removed with the next cache clear, but will when updating the mod.
I recommend using Visual Studio Code or NotePad++ to edit the track table, as these support JSON syntax detection.
Open your userfolder and navigate to "settings/zeit/radio" and open "trackTable.json". Do not edit "trackTableDefault.json" inside the mod itself. This contains default songs.

Song entry format is as follows:

"duration" is the song duration in seconds. Use 0 to disable this feature.
"volCoef" is not a required attribute, however it can be used for especially quiet songs.
An entry may not support special characters and square/curly brackets. This will break things.
It is best to stick to latin characters.
Remember to check for syntax errors and save the json.

A song has to be in a playlist to be available for you to play.
To edit, add or delete playlists (required when adding/removing songs) open the file called "playlists.json".
This is what the entry format for a playlist looks like:

Playlists can be added or removed, as long as there is at least one playlist. The playlist order starts at 1 beginning from the top of the file. There is no limit to how many playlists you can add and how many songs are in a playlist.
Remember to check for syntax errors and save the json.

Press CTRL+R to apply changes.

- Added double-click to open to file explorer
- Added drag-select feature to file explorer

I can't seam to get any audio from the mod, it shows the song is playing but there's no audio (even when its set to max)

Are you in first-person? Unless you enable it in the settings, audio will only ever play when the camera is inside the car.
