WIP Sanbatsu merry and berga(Japanse kei truck)(Lore Jimny)(slow development.)

I quite like the whimsical and boxy nature of this vehicle. I cannot wait to try it.

Development of face parts for all four generations is nearing completion to a certain extent.

 

The last one with painted bumper is best one yet! Is it been producen in 2010's?

The front of that one pretty much reminds me of the last Sambars that Subaru actually built themselves, before switching to rebadged Hijets. And, those last Subaru-built Sambar trucks were built until 2012, so your observation makes sense.

Thank you for your opinion. The vehicles I used as bases are the Mitsubishi Minicab (1984), the Daihatsu Hijet (1981), the Subaru Sambar (1990 and 1999), and the Canycom Liger, which is not strictly a light truck.

 

Seeing how the later versions are Sambar inspired, is there any chance one of them could also get a retro-styled, Sambar Classic-like variation?

 

I would like to make one in the future. However, my computer is not working properly, so I think I will have some time off from developing it.

When I use Blender, it sometimes freezes. It's fine otherwise.

 

i think it's mostly his idea, he only made the fascias slightly similar to some irl kei trucks
