The EV mode and Charge mode don't work for me. I tried changing key binds but it didn't work.

 

i still have an issue where it says broken mod or corrupt mod. Ive tried everything to get to to drive

 

Go to the vehicle configuration tab and adjust the battery charge level. Apply the changes this works for me

 

I did it let me drive for a good 2 mins then froze and said broken mod again.

Nevermind js had to update thank you for helping me!

 

The new update seems like it removes a lot of sounds, like the one that played while the bus was idling and the engine was off, so now it sounds like nothing... and it also removed that smooth braking thing where if you were braking softly it didnt make an airbrake sound, like what would happen on normal hybrid buses, now it just always makes the sound for some reason...

And the ignition state now doesn't let me have an accessories only state, which Im not sure is intentional or not

Well now that noise just doesn't play at all, even when you downgrade to the older version of the mod. So literal radio silence when the engine shuts off....

I even disabled all other mods, is there any way to force that noise to come up again? Or did it somehow get removed?

 

i have a problem where the ev keybinds are not working and wont let me turn ev on

 

Relating to my previous issue, it doesn't appear and that noise happens like normal if you have the new version of this mod but the older (one right before the new one) version of arcanox core. And in that config it gives you a message telling you to update the arcanox core since this mod is on the newest version already. But I don't care, its just the core thats preventing that noise from happening. And still, none of this fixes the (newer) issue with the ignition.

 

I can't seem to get the idle shut-off working on the citybus. It works perfectly on the ETK, so i'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

dose the high pitch squeal from the EV not annoy anyone else ?

 

any fixes for EV mode not working? all keybinds do nothing for me and i have them binded to keys not used by anything else in the game

 

Good news: you can disable this sound, if you don't mind opening the mod folder.

Just go to the in-game Mods Manager -> Hybrid Citybus -> Unpack -> Open in Explorer. Then navigate to the folder

and move or delete the file:

also why do the other sounds not work like air compressor sounds etc, the high pitch sound is the only one i get when driving the hybrid/EV bus

 

The air compressor sound used to playl but now it doesn't

Does the idle shut-off work for anyone? It isn't working for me and idk why, there are no other bus mods installed/activated

EDIT: I think I found it was because the engine was not warmed up, and it won't shut off unless it is warm

 

I am trying to drive the one on EV only mode but when I manage to get it to start up it only rolls forward in D and the throttle pedal does not respond
