SUB*ROSA Ibishu 200BX 0-400The latest custom Ibishu 200BX built by SUB*ROSA is pushing the envelope when it comes to customizing this small Japanese coupe. When you first lay eyes on the Sub Rosa Ibishu 200BX 0-400, you can't help but wonder if this is where the line between sanity and obsession blurs. Does this eccentric car go too far at trying to beat the speed record? And does it even make sense t o d o i t t h i s w a y ? Read the entire article here. Lore: Early 2000s were arguably the period when Japanese car tuning peaked – or, at least, when the tuning garage and aftermarket part manufacturer SUB*ROSA was at the top. The SUB*ROSA Ibishu 200BX 0-400 is one of the more eccentric builds offered during that time. When many street racers went for higher displacement engines, SUB*ROSA decided to keep the compact 2.0l i4 and put not one, but two turbochargers in parallel setup. This resulted in a rather odd experience, leaving many car enthusiasts wondering why even do it this way? Images: Spoiler: Custom gauge skins Content: This expansion pack comes with two configs: SUB*ROSA Ibishu 200BX 0-400 (twin-turbo i4, manual, ~1050 HP) and SUB*ROSA Ibishu 200BX Custom (stage 3 turbo, dual-clutch transmission, ~620 HP). Both use parts made specifically for them. Extra parts include new wheels (Clockwise 533 in satin black) and 245/30R17 Sport Plus 2R tires. The tires are midway between sport and race tires, which makes them a little less grippy than vanilla semislicks. There is a tiny chance that ESC will block throttle input. Change gear or switch to TCS only to fix it. It needs more troubleshooting, but I can't reproduce it myself – BeamNG bug? Ghost_cauli has been using the SUB*ROSA brand for the past year or something, they have a pack with skins that feature the name. Sub Rosa isn't just the name of a game that hasn't released yet. There are many things using "Sub Rosa" as a name. And here I thought it might've been a reference to a BMX company.
Well, guess what. It was one of the cooler-sounding synonyms of secret. You know, as a subtle nod to this one Japanese brand.
@ghost_cauli I have a little report to make. Your tyres are egg shaped. idk if this is a base game bug or something to do with the offset, but they're wobbly and distracting. I've attached two short clips, at the bottom of my post, of the rear wheel with and without .jbeam visible. *I've only noticed the issue when using the black set of Clockwise 553 wheels so far though. I'm really liking the mod so far tho. Unironically, this config is the most driveable for me.
The rollcage blocks the extra gauges on both LHD and RHD dashboards. I understand that gauge needles are a PITA though, so I'll just not run a rollcage in the meantime...
Smh my head. How did I miss this – the tires weren't scaled properly (y:0.915 and z:0.91). I'll post a hotfix (hopefully) ASAP. Iirc this one was a test config I made from the default Type-L 200BX, while the 0-400 is based off the Runner config. I decided to keep it in for a reason, lol.
it would be nice if move the boost gauage to another place on the dash, my rollcage block it . But anyway, NICE ONE!

Anyone else with this issue? I can't reproduce this one. But, there's a minor deform group leak in the engine that makes the suspension disappear.
