Hey guys! So for one; on more demanding maps I typically run 200fps at 1080p, 120fps at 1440p, and 60fps at 2160p. This is all with the settings on low/lowest with AA and AF turned off. I feel like I should be running a bit better.

Though, I have an extreme problem with stuttering. Every quarter of a second or so I will experience a huge lag-spike. It's making the game near-unplayable. I watch videos of others playing this game on similar or lower builds and I don't see this issue. My GPU driver is up-to-date BTW.

My system is a custom build inside of a CM Storm Stryker. I run off of 2 Samsung EVO 250gb SSDs.
I have an EVGA Geforce GTX 980, an Intel i7 4820k on an Asus Sabertooth X79 mobo, with 16gb Kingston HyperX RAM, and a Corsair RM850 PSU. This should be more than enough to run this game at any resolution without these lag-spikes.

Could you check if your Cpu reduces it's frequency when Lag Spike happens?

It looks like it does a very little bit, but I'm not seeing my CPU usage even climb over 20%

And now that my resource monitor is open, I'm not even seeing any lag spikes. o.e | Never mind. Still there.

Are you able to record a short video? If yes, press Ctrl+F before you start so it shows the game statistics too.

Get afterburner and check the frame times. You might have to find it in the settings.
