That reminds me of how I posted a piece of artwork in Beamcord where it had the Sniper from Team Fortress 2 behind a JBX100 with the subtitle "Gonna have fun in the parking lot! ". Needless to say, the reactions were unexpected.
If you don’t hear from me again, it’s because I died in a tornado. Bye! There was actually a tornado warning, and I was told to go into the basement by the alert on my phone (but I didn’t).
Look at these guys can’t even drive standard! Learn, it takes 10 minutes, and a friend with a manual car! --- Post updated --- If you don’t hear from me, it’s because I died in a insane thunderstorm last night
I mean, I technically can drive a manual, if you don't count the damn clutch. What I actually mean is that I can't handle racing a car with a full manual transmission system - H-pattern stickshift, clutch, all of that, because it's such an intricate complicated process that I just can't even be bothered. "Oh, you just have to do this, except you can't do THIS with the clutch because you'll break the gears, oh and if you do THIS it ALSO breaks the damn gears, OH and you ALSO can't do-" WHAT DOES BITING GEARS EVEN F*CKING FEEL LIKE!?!? In short, too hard. I'd rather just go with flappy paddles and an automatic clutch like GT3 race cars.
Fair. But you can push start a manual car Here’s some tricks: treat the clutch like your best friend; don’t let it go too quickly, shift smoothly. It is impossible to damage a transmission unless you put the gear before the clutch
Somehow my power kept flickering before the storm reached us, but not when we were actually in the storm.
I definitely want to learn manual irl someday. because i've used an h-pattern shifter in BeamNG I know the basic mechanics. I do have 2 option to learn manual tho 1. My uncles jeep 2. My neigbors 2008-ish mustang with a spicy 4.8 (I think) Who should I ask?
Jeep, definitely Jeep. The jeep may be a pile of steaming garbage, but it's less powerful and slower, meaning you will have less wheelspin if you screw up. Plus he's your uncle and since he's family more likely to help you learn. I have not learned yet but I will in my '98 civic 5 speed.
I guess the thunder storm went far through America… from the mid west to Atlantic canada --- Post updated --- It seems as if they finally got the infrastructure going good, haven’t lost power in a few years
My house is near 3 power transformers/junction things, so we get power even if 2 of them are out. The only way we would lose power is if the whole area loses power, or someone digs up the underground power line on my street. --- Post updated --- So the latest FH5 update actually didn't suck! And they did not add another DLC this time!
Random guy on the forums who insults people and sides with other idiots (like willpiper) and is generally not nice to be around. However, I didn't think I would find him on Modland... Just search up his member here! --- Post updated --- Here's his greatest highlights reel! Don't worry, all of these quotes have been edited so hopefully it doesn't notify him that we're talking about him
